So slow. I was here at 11:30am and no one else was ordering. They were out of both spicy and mild chicken tenders. Of course no one mentions this and I wait 15 minutes for a 3 piece. Awful service.

The chicken is dry here, and it’s also old chicken, they don’t change it like their supposed to. This I know from a certain person that I know who works here. Stay away from this place, you’ll have the runs and the people always seem to have an attitude towards you without even knowing you. Worst place to eat.

I’m a huge fan of Popeye’s! I don’t have one near me, so I eat there, any chance I get!
This was the worst Popeye’s experience ever! The only food that was up to standard, was the biscuit… I ordered the Surf and Turf Combo… Red Beans and rice was crunchy. I had to return the tarter sauce packets twice, and gave up on the 3^rd one… They were so old, there was crust all over them. The chicken was bland and also tasted old.
Bathrooms were dirty, and there were no paper towels to use when leaving the bathroom.
I’ll never stop there again

We had arrived in Mesquite after driving for long hours. We’d never tried a popeyes before but it was the closest quick food place. I fell in love with it. The service was wonderful, the food delicious, and there was such a variety of sodas to choose from. Popeyes was having a $ 3.99 special on chicken tenders or fish so we tried them. The meal was filling too. I give them a four star because they do use msg in their foods. Otherwise, everything else was 5 stars.

there’s a popeye’s chicken and quizno’s within the chevron gas station food mart.
i opted for the popeye’s 2pc bonefied chicken this time around, but was not impressed. food was not super-fresh as i expected, there was no crunch to the breaded chicken. i think it’s possibly because the fact it’s in a gas station mart, it doesnt get as much traffic to keep the kitchen cooking… so you might get left with pre-cooked stuff sitting under a heat lamp for a while.
