My 3 year old usually has his hair cut by Ashley, who does a great job. He seen Lindsay one time when Ashley wasn’t there and she did a horrible job. I sent my husband to get our sons haircut there today and apparently Lindsay was the only one working. Ashley uses sz 3 clippers on the side and blends the top. It isn’t a complicated cut. When my husband brought my son home he had the biggest gap in his bangs and his hair is choppy all over. It is completely obvious. I don’t see how she couldn’t see what a horrible job she did. I could have screwed his hair up just as fantastically if I did it myself. I have no idea how this woman obtained a license to cut hair if she can’t even do a basic cut. I just wasted $ 15 and now I have to buzz his hair… just like the last time she cut it. Horrible horrible horrible! I wouldn’t let that woman cut a piece of thread. We won’t be returning. I’m not risking having LINDSAY again.

I just experienced the worst haircut of my life yesterday here at smart styles!!! I called before I went in to make sure they had experience with curly hair and she said yes she had plenty of experience. Needless to say Im sure she lied.
I should’ve know when she asked if I wanted a relaxer (Rude).
She completely rushed through it and ruined my hair. It’s so short and uneven. It even looks bad when I straighten it.
Now I have to wait months for it to grow out and cut it again since she cut off way too much of my length. I will NOT be returning. If you have curly hair, this is definitely NOT the place to go. I would rate this place 0 stars if I could.

Rude stupid people cutting hair? Is this a good combination? No! But then again you’re getting your hair cut in a WalMart in Mesquite.
I called ahead because my grandmother is 100 and can’t sit long. She insists on coming here because it is close. I wanted to put her name on the list but was told to come in and there would be no wait. We’ve been here for 45 minutes. We are about to leave. I asked about my call and they were rude about it. My grandmother is about to cry. We are still here but about to leave. This place is absolute trash. I’ve been listening to the stylists talk and it is disappointing.
