Ulta 3

If I could give it negative stars I would. The OPI nail bar looks bare every time I go. Then a consultant wants to tell me what she thinks I should buy only to find they were out of that polish. The entire store is gross and even WalMart keeps better looking stocks and isles. So I have to go to the Preston location instead? Forget it. I’m a Sephora fan now.

Yuck! This location is closest to me and I like the layout of this store but the last time I went in to shop it was a disaster. A week ago I went to buy some NYX and Essence items. It looked like the store had been destroyed by looters! All of the displays were half empty and testers in the NYX area were completely ruined. It was a huge disappointment. The store was a mess, with lots of items out of place. I went to the prestige area and it was very similar. Also, there were no beauty consultants to help in prestige. I did end up purchasing a Mally shadow stick but that’s it. Truly, I couldn’t wait to get out of there. So depressing! Whoever manages this location is dropping the ball BIG TIME.

I drive 30 minutes just to get my eyebrows done by Amy at the Benefit bar! She’s awesome!

Terrible!!! Just terrible, I sure hope not all Ultas are like this. I have been to this location so many times. I know how they are I just want to get my items and get out, but I’m done with them now. They are so rude. Everytime I come in here it’s like the employees hate their life so they come to work and take it out on the customers. There was a time I went to swatch some of the eyeshawdows and a lady came up behind me and told me I wasn’t aloud to touch anything and she talked to me like I was a child. They never want to help you and they make you feel like you are bothering them if you ask a question. I will never shop at Ulta again.

They lady who was pregnant in July did my hair cut and highlights. She did an amazing job but the lady who tried to Do my sisters hair was the worst hairstylist I have ever seen. (She is the you younger lady with blonde short hair and pink in it and tattoos) She tried to switch my sister’s request so she did and then she didn’t even explain the effects of bleaching and she bleached my sisters hair 3 times in one siting and made my sisters hair fallout. She also couldn’t comb it or anything so she asked my sister to finish it! And then she tried to have me pay in a hurry i guess before I could see the huge mistake in my sisters hair. She charged 3 times the orig. amount cuz she couldn’t get it right. She does not know what she is doing! There was no change to her hair except that it was fried crunchy and falling out. The guy at the register even made a face like oh shit that’s bad. The manger wouldn’t refund anything, only give her a deep cond. and she stuck up for the hair stylist saying it was my sisters fault she wanted her hair bleached with it being so dark. I will not go back even though I would like to because my lady was great and nice.

I like Ulta. I don’t like how this particular location treats their customers. A woman approached me asking if I needed help and I said no. She proceeded to interject about the product I was looking at and I said «I know». I’m a beauty writer and cosmetologist for fucks sake. She turned around and let out a loud scoff. When I approached a manager about it, she just said «My girl? I don’t think so.» and refused to acknowledge that her associate is an asshole. Never again will I go to this location.

This Ulta is a great place for stylish men and women to find all their products including some hard to find «salon» brands. They also carry men’s styling products that I’ve not been able to find at other stores.
Full hair salon inside as well makes it a great place to get all dolled up and get supplies for re-​creating the look again.
