Where to begin… drove into Vegas Saturday night only to find out EVERY room was booked(we had reservations for Sunday) so my boyfriend and I turned around and headed back to Mesquite in search of a room. We had the good sense to call and find out if there were any rooms at «the Inn» as we didn’t want to have to sleep in the car. There was a room and we reserved it. Got to the Valley Inn Motel and thought what had we gotten ourselves into. There were construction workers sitting outside in the parking lot having a few beers but we decided to go inside and register. The gentleman who checked us in was quite friendly and fortunately caught a mistake when he almost charged me $ 800 for the room. He took us over to our room(lucky 13) and opened it for us. What can I say… it was clean and there was a bed, bathroom and TV. The room reeked of an overpowering cheap men’s cologne but after driving for 10+ hours and with no other alternative we settled in for the night. I’ll have to say we did get a good nights sleep even though the beds were like sleeping on a board and we were not attacked by bed bugs. All in all not a place I’d recommend unless you were in dire straights like we were.
