Adler’s

I love Adlers ! I’ve gotten both jewelry and housewares from here and have been pleased with the quality. That being said the customer service is mediocre at best. It seems there are always employees shooting the breeze who appear to be annoyed when they actually have to help you with something.

Outstanding customer service!!! Adler’s is such a great New Orleans tradition. I found the cutest Hubig Pie cuff links and had a great conversation with Mike as the store was closing. So nice to go home to New Orleans and walk in Adler’s and get the great customer service I remember!!!

My fiancé and went to Adler’s to look for wedding bands. We made a special trip there because I wanted my wedding band to match my engagement ring (which was purchased from Adler’s). Sadly, I left Adler’s empty-​handed and confused.
Our encounter with the sale’s person at Adler’s was bizarre. I showed her my engagement ring and informed her it was from Adler’s and I was looking to find a wedding band to match it. She seemed completely disinterested in helping us and it was as if she was trying to get rid of us the entire time. When I first asked to try on a ring, she pulled it out and handed it to me. Then, she immediately handed me her card and told me to contact her when I was ready to make a purchase. (This came after I told her I was looking to purchase the ring that day.) She then took the ring from me, put it in the case, and tried to walk away. This happened at least 3 – 4 times. I probably would have given up after the first ring I tried on, but I had really wanted to get my ring from Adler’s so I kept asking her to see rings. I have never been in a situation in which I actually wanted the sales person to try to sell me something and they wouldn’t. Eventually I became so frustrated that I left and went to another local jewelry store.
Also, it should be noted that the store was empty and there were other sales associates just standing around doing nothing.
