Brought my Singer to these guys and they replaced the bobbin case and supposedly adjusted, oiled and cleaned the machine. Has worked HORRIBLY!!! Paid over $ 130.00 I just spent an additional $ 200 with someone who fixed and warrantied their service. Works beautifully now! Don’t waste your time with AllBrands; go to Dr. Danes!

Allbrands store is just that, all brands as far as sewing machines, quilting machines and embroidery machines. The other leg of this body fabrics of all brands. From granny’s wallpaper to the local Saint’s Fluer DeLis. However, Technology is the enemy to such a store. They can order what’s not in stock via W.W.W.(so can anyone else and probably find it cheaper).

I found this business while searching for a Meile vacuum. They had a good selection of floor models to check out. After fiddling around with them for about 15 minutes, I found a great model that had everything I wanted for a reasonable price. The problem is no employee in this store was willing to help me. I thought it was strange that no one greeted me as I came in, nor was I approached by anyone for the 15 minutes I was looking at the products. At first I was pleased to be given the freedom to look at things on my own, but was completely ignored when it came time to buy one. There was only one other person in the store at the time, so it is not like things were so busy I got lost in a crowd. I approached an employee, who completely ignored me. I couldn’t get a single response from her. Rude behavior is inexcusable in a customer/salesperson relationship. Sorry you missed out on a $ 500 sale today. This is definitely not a place to go if you want a vacuum cleaner, and based on their customer service, it’s really not a place for anyone to buy anything. Bring your money to someone who wants it.

Really had a cruddy first experience here, but they are kinda the only game in town. I wanted to get an item, and thought it would be fine to get it through the store instead of the internet site. Called and they said they didn’t stock them. I asked about ordering it for me, and she said, «Well, I guess we could.» I should have known that there might be trouble. I went ahead and ordered it and was told it should be in by then end of the week. My credit card was charged the next day. So I ended up calling two to three weeks later, to make sure my item was there to pick up. Nope. And they weren’t sure where it was or what happened to the order. ;/ They say they’ll call me back. I don’t get called back, so I call them back a few hours later. Turns out that Allbrands’ secondary supplier(the company that imports the item) was affected by Sandy, and that company may be shipping stuff in a week or so. Here’s my deal: I totally get the chain of supply is down, but, Allbrands, you couldn’t care less that I have an impending deadline and need this item to work. So much so, that even though I’ve waited three times as long as I had expected to, you aren’t willing to expedite the shipping once your supplier is up and running. That was all I asked. Expedite the shipping. Nope. Not willing. Yeah, so now I’m really on the horns of a dilemma. Where should I get my sewing machines serviced? BY you, Allbrands, who doesn’t have a stellar track record when it comes to customer service? I’m actually going to give a star back, because once I got in the shop, the folks had a little better understanding of, at least, how to treat an in-store customer.
