Beyond Nails and Spa

Went for a mani/​pedi. My manicurist was very nice. However the place was absolutely freezing. Not only that but some of the other workers were pushy and rude. I will try it again and hopefully this was an off day. If not I won’t be back.

I love this place!!! You can’t beat the price for the great job they do on your nails and it always lasts!!!

$ 20 for gel polish. My nails look fancy but my attitude needed an adjustment after I left there. It’s a little steep to what I’m used to for just gel nail polish. It was very busy around 9:30am so it took me a good 30 minutes to be seen. After being seated, every time the phone rang the they stopped what they were doing on me and grabbed the phone so it took quite a while. Now the reason for the 4 stars is because I didn’t make an appt so I guess I really shouldn’t be complaining. And my nails do look nice. I’ll try this place again but just making the appointment first.

I was searching for a new nail salon and I think I’ve found it! Beyond Nails & Spa was very clean and ascetically pleasing to the eye. Elaine did my manicure and she was very professional and friendly. I absolutely love the way my nails look. Stopping by Beyond Nails & Spa will become a part of my pampering routine.

Clean, Modern, great, friendly, young, intelligent employees… very efficient and fast! I drive from across the city to go here and would not go anywhere else! (I also get my eyebrows waxed while Im there!)

I don’t know why people are leaving this place a bad review. They have a separate room for acrylic nails. My pedicure is still prestine after weeks. This is the only nail salon where my nails don’t lift. The quality is great and generally is only 2 dollars more than the cheap nail salons. I consider this place a deal. I love it!!!

First timer… Very clean with nice ambiance! Separate area for acrylic nails. Prices are on the higher end (pedicure starts at $ 32) but felt serviced received warranted the price! I’ve been to other shops that are comparable in price but service mediocre at best! No complaints about this visit but didn’t give 5 stars since this is my first visit and 5 stars comes with consistency!. Will def be back!

I was a bit surprised seeing some of the negative reviews for this place. I took my girlfriend her for a birthday pedicure after a friend’s recommendation and we were able to walk in no problem. I had to wait about 5 min for them to get my chair ready so my friend went first since she decided on getting a mani too. We went at like 10:30am on a Saturday and by the time they left there was a wait. But the pedi was pretty good. $ 30 for a pedi and it included an exfoliating scrub, hot towel and a decent foot/​leg rub. I already had a gel manicure but I their gel manis are $ 30 too so I will definitely be back to see if they last longer than the other salon I went to. Also, I don’t get why people think just because a tech is speaking their native language it should be assumed they are talking shit about you. ⁹⁹⁄₁₀₀ they are probably talking about their own drama rather than make a comment about you unless you’re rude and give them a reason to. Keep it up Beyond! You have a new repeat customer :)

Ok I came here before ranting & raving about this place. TWICE I went and my $ 30 gel manicure chipped within a week. Also, everytime I went the ladies were gossiping with each other. Like pausing briefly to gossip about their other coworkers. I found a new nail place & won’t be returning to beyond nails.

Best pedicure I’ve gotten in Metairie. Very clean shop with incredibly friendly staff. Highly recommend!

It’s a nice quiet place perfect for some time alone without your children an husband! All I got was nails painted an pedicure but this pedi is amazing! I love it if I ever come back to NOLA an want my nails did I’ll be comin back here!

I was referred here by my Hair Stylist in the area. I was a walk in customer. I needed a nail repaired and ended up getting a pedicure that I needed but didn’t think I had time for. They skipped a few steps that were not crucial & got me what I needed in record time. Everyone was very friendly & the place is comfortable and clean.

I tried Beyond Nails after hearing rave reviews from my employees and friends. I’m happy to report they were right! Beyond Nails was amazeballs! The staff was friendly and attentive, the space bright and clean, the service timely and long lasting. There is a separate room for acrylic nails, which is nice for those who are bothered by the hard smell. They do tend to get a little busy, so if you need to be in and out and on your way in a certain window of time, I would call ahead and make an appointment just to be safe. Another thing to point out is their attention to detail… like nail art or making your manicure personal. I chose a natural nail color then a silver shimmer ombré to match my Gatsby Halloween costume. It came out beautiful and it was the tech’s idea. I will definitely be back.

Love, love beyond nails. The nail techs are all great, and the owner is awesome! There is a separate room for acrylic, so you aren’t overwhelmed by smell. The salon has a trendy vibe and comfortable atmosphere. Best gel manicure ever!

Was visiting for a week, looking for a quick fix gel manicure, and found Beyond Nails! Excellent service, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Definitely will come back.

Also, please note the 3 5-​star reviews appear to be shills, so coming from a real live person I wouldn’t recommend this place! I also found it interesting that the shills basically try to contradict my direct experience… you silly owners and your shill reviews!
The owner contacted me and told me if I don’t want to wait, make an appointment… funny this is #1 right on the front of the establishment is says walk ins welcome and #2 the second time (yes I gave them another shot) i went in there was 3 nail techs, no customers and I STILL waited 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my presence! When I explained this to the owner she sent me 3 replies telling me that her techs had sick kids??? ummm ok! Yeah that wasn’t the problem lol Then she kept sending me messages to a point I had to block and report her.
They are FAR too many nail shops in Metry to settle for the downright terrible service at this place.

I am so happy my nail technician for about 6 yrs has finally opened up her own shop. Debbie and her sisters really created a very comfortable, stylish, CLEAN environment for their clientele. You definitely won’t find one of those «hand posters» in this shop! They even have a glass enclosed room for acrylic users that filters the odors from the process. I totally enjoy my time there as they treat you like family! The shop is located right next to the Black and Gold Shop. Go for a visit and I promise you will return.
