The welcoming was great the greeters were very nice. We reserved a table so there was no wait, but the waiter immediately did like our book club and took forever to take orders. He and the manager gazed at us the whole time. Food was OK. I have been to plenty restaurants/sports bars, and this was the first time I felt awkward… ever

Our server Terrance was great, very knowledgable about the menu and specials. And very attentive. Only four stars because the Mardi Gras pasta gave my boyfriend and I serious stomach aches for the rest of the day. Other than the food messing with our stomachs it was a pleasant lunch.

My wife and I have been here a few times, this past Sunday was with family for the holiday. We’re generally always happy here. The food is great, especially the Cajun Hebert Fries. This time, I had the cajun redfish which was delicious. My wife had the crab cakes. Her parents shared a seafood platter. The service has always been friendly and excellent, but here’s why I dropped a star: they completely forgot to make my entrée. Granted, we were a party of 9, and it was a busy holiday, but I was the only one without an entrée. I was gonna let it go and just make sure they didn’t charge us for it, but the server realized the mistake, and they ended up making it for me AND comped it. So they went above and beyond to fix the error. I’m still leaving it at 4 stars even though they comped it, the rationale being I dropped 2 stars for the huge mistake and gave 1 star back for fixing it. We’re still gonna eat here again. We love the food too much. Plus for checking in, you can get a free dessert.

We really wanted some Cajun food while we were in the he New Orleans area and we found it! Although a sports bar, the televisions were not too loud and we liked the music choices and volume. Our server, Nicolas, was friendly and helpful as we made our choices. I had a delicious Rib Roast salad with blue cheese dressing and my husband had the Mardi Gras fettuccini. All was great, well cooked, well seasoned and the right temperature(my salad was cold and the meat was warm, fettuccini was hot) Would definitely come again if we are in the area.

Came back for mother’s day with my wife and kids. Really enjoyed the food. Daughter enjoyed the grilled chicken. Wife enjoyed the chicken fettuccine. I continued enjoying the raspberry firefly tea. Will be back.

Second visit, excellent as the last. Must have the drink special– the Cajun cannon– for 2. Comes with dry ice so it’s a show in itself! The service was excellent, so friendly and accommodating. Had the catfish platter, fried ravioli and shrimp Alfredo– huge servings, we all took some home. The kids meals are big as well. Our server, Milan, was fabulous– on the ball, helpful with suggestions!

Came here to eat with my brother and sister-in-law from Houston. Had to show them what true southern seafood was like. Service — Ashley, our server was great. She was attentive, sweet, and truly a great server. My brother noted he hasn’t had good service like that in a while Food– Alligator bites are the absolute best! They look like mini boudin balls. Mashed like(not exactly sure what’s in it) with alligator and fried — served with a delicious remoulade. I also ordered the duck — delish. My sister for the shrimp and crawfish pasta. She liked it as well! The only thing I can complain about though, is that sometimes their food can be really salty… like really salty. I’ve been here a handful of times and majority of the time it’s good, but sometimes it can be too salty IMO to enjoy. Overall, I’d come back again!

Home of the burger challenge This is a great restaurant if you’re looking for easy parking, nice space, good variety of food at affordable prices. It ranges from Pastas to oysters to burgers and so on. I did the burger challenge which is 7 patty burger and fries with shrimp hat must be eaten in 30 min. Sadly I didn’t complete it but it was fun and people here were very supportive. The food is great a bit on the fatty side which is hard to avoid in New Orleans. Fried oysters are always a good choice. Ambience is casual sit down restaurant with table service. A lot of families from what I see usually. But I came during Mardi Gras parades. Price is going to cost you around 15 – 25 $ a person for an entrée. Service was friendly. Not speedy but they’re not a fast food restaurant. They don’t rush you. –The air is crisp with springs soon arrival

Where should I start? I have been to this restaurant multiple times since it’s inception and never walk away unsatisfied. The service is top notch. If you find something on the menu that you don’t like, the management will immediately send it back to the kitchen and let you put in another order. The seafood is very good. My favorites are the Cajun Fries & the gumbo. This place is a must and the prices don’t kill your wallet.

Right when you walk in the host and servers were extremely welcoming. I am not from New Orleans and our waiter Khloe was so helpful explaining the menu. I ordered the grilled shrimp poboy and my boyfriend ordered the Mardi Gras pasta. We loved it here so much we came back and ate here 2 days later with the same great service. This time we tried the Cajun fries, cat fish platter and BBQ shrimp po boy! Every dish was amazing. The Cajun fries was the best! If you’re not from New Orleans like us, this is a great place to check out.

I’m a little torn in this one. This isn’t my typically kind of place(sports bar science) kind of a mix of a kid friendly hooters atmosphere and an Applebee’s. The fries with creamy cheesy sauce appetizer was my favorite dish we got. We went so celebrate my dad’s birthday and he loved the bbq shrimp so that gets them the third star. The Mardi Gras Pasta everyone rants and raves about was decent but I’ve had much better pasta in the city. The waitress also forgot things multiple times like my little bits drink and the chicken for her pasta. It really threw me off that they will only give you birthday dessert on your actually day of birth. Do they really think my dad was going to come back two days later and scam them for dessert again? Overall not somewhere I’m planning to return unless someone I’m with desperately wants to go.

The food was ok. The place was open on Thanksgiving. My cousin and I were starving. The Cajun Fries were mediocre. I don’t get the hype. It was just French fries with cheese sauce and a few crawfish. The ranch dressing didn’t really compliment the cheese fries. Next up was the Seafood Platter. We also shared that. The Seafood Platter was fine. I loved the crab cake. The crab cake was mostly crab, which was divine. Overall the seafood had a subtle taste to it. We both thought the onion rings had way too much batter on them. The fish strips and shrimp were good. Jacob was a very nice waiter.

We came here to watch the Saints. First time coming here. When I heard Bobby Hebert opened a restaurant, I thought immediately that it wouldn’t be good. Nothing to do with him as a quarterback. It just seemed like it would be something that came and went. I heard from a friend that it was actually decent. So we gave it a go. We were seated promptly. The food come out pretty quickly. The server was really friendly. There was just something about the place that felt average. The layout was very shallow. The positioning of the tvs made it tough to see the game from some tables. The food was decent, but not great. The bloody Mary’s were inconsistent. The restaurant is really noisy. Obviously that is expected during a Saints game, but there isn’t very much sound dampening so it gets really noisy in there. It also doesn’t have a very cozy feel. The place does seem to be well run. The manager came to the table a couple of times to ask us how we were doing. The service was good overall. But with so many options to eat and watch the game in Metairie, this one just didn’t really hit the mark for me. Not bad, but not great.

The shrimp poboy was not bad. But $ 16!!! I probably won’t be back to try the other stuff. I’m sure it’s not bad, but I wouldn’t know.

The service was great, but the food was just meh – greasy Mardi Gras, decent wrap(but $ 14 for it!) If you’re looking for a tourist spot, this is it; however, I definitely wouldn’t come for the food…

Its another glorified Lagers. You can tell they did some research when creating their menu. They literally copied every signature item from every Metairie restaurant. Where is the creativity? The sauces taste homemade but the proteins(shrimp, chicken, etc) are definitely frozen. I would recommend this place to someone wanting to sit at the bar to watch sports in a smoke free environment. Super casual, great service, no atmosphere with thoughtless food.

This place was def better than I thought. My fiancé had a groupon and I had put off using it bc I thought this would be another mediocre restaurant. But we finally went and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was good, the service was outstanding! I will certainly go again. Our waitress Holly was awesome and even the food runners ask you what they can do for you before they leave your table. It’s really wonderful. We got the alligator bites– yum. Then I got the crab cake para but substituted the mushroom cream sauce. Omg– so good! That sauce made all of the difference. My fiancé got the crab cake plate with red beans as a side. The red beans were so awesome. We had the chocolate mousse for dessert, it was great. I was very pleased with my first trip here!

My fiancé and I decided to check this place out since we had bought a Groupon. We were a little unsure how it would be since many of the earlier reviews mentioned subpar service. I must say, whatever problems they must’ve been having in those areas seem to have been corrected. I thought the service, with Our server Holly in particular, was very good. Even the food runners would ask if we needed anything when they dropped the food off. As for the food, it was good, but not great. We started with and order of the alligator fritters. They were pretty good, but not a must try. For my entrée, I got the crab cake entrée and I substituted red beans in place of the mashed potatoes. The crab cakes were good, and the crawfish sauce is a welcomed addition. The real star here was actually the red beans, they were awesome! They definitely taste like Popeyes red beans, which if you’ve tried Popeyes red beans, you know that is not an insult. They have a red beans entrée, I might go for that next time! My fiancé got the crab cake pasta dish and switched out the standard Alfredo sauce for the crawfish sauce that my dish had. She rely enjoyed it. For dessert, we split a piece of the chocolate mousse cake. It was good, but I’d be open to trying one of the other ones next time.

The staff was great they greeted you as soon we walked in quickly sat us and the waiter Holly was on her«A» game. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and also suggested us to grill the crab cakes which is not an option on the menu, and omg it was so good couldn’t have had a better crab cake! The wings were good, the red beans and rice with sausage was the best I’ve ever had in my life! The Cajun fries as my weakness for fries with anything on top this was a must try for me, I was very curious with this topping I have never tried, this was good and creamy all the way through no dry areas creamy craw fish cheese and mushrooms. Upon leaving we were greeted by the chef Brandon which was very pleasant giving us thanks and ago appreciation for dining. As we left every worker that we passed thanked us and even held the door open. Excellent customer service here and the food is great I will definitely be back when I visit New Orleans
