Tucked in a corner across from a Dollar Tree, Ci Ci’s is not much to look at. Indeed, the unlit interior might lead one to believe it’s closed. The name might lead you to expect a «Ci Ci» and a wholly different type of massage. Don’t. Serious reflexology is their stock in trade, though one can also get a chair massage. The reflexology sessions are serious matters that can be a little uncomfortable momentarily but result in a feeling of walking of velvet for next six hours. Expect your foot to open and yield in unexpected ways. The atmosphere from the outside looks uninviting – a dark, small box tucked in among department stores and brightly lit boutiques. Once inside, the darkness works to help focus relaxation and the babbling walla-walla of passing shoppers is surprisingly pleasant and relaxing, even to where you might fall asleep on the chair. The chair massage was OK, but I’ve had better. The foot reflexology is where it’s at here, and worth a half-hour or so of your time.
