Great place to buy maternity clothes. It’s hard to find simple pieces like leggings. They also have complex pieces like jeans and blazers too. The prices are mid-high priced. I would geaux back in a few months for some other stuff for the bump.

I had a great experience at Destination Maternity today! This was my second trip maternity clothes shopping, the first time was an awful experience filled with rude sales people and ugly pattern, non fitting clothes. The sales staff at DM was so helpful and nice, and i found tons of clothes that i ended up walking out of there with, unlike my first shopping trip to the mall where i walked out with nothing! They offer you either a water or a juice which is nice, and the atmosphere is peaceful and put together, not scattered. Good range of prices, styles and sizes also. The only downfall is maternity clothes are pricier than regular clothes, but thats to be expected anywhere. Overall, i would recommend DM to all the pregnant Nola girls out there!

there are so few maternity options in the NOLA area that I hate to give this place a low score but here goes: 1) most of the clothes make you look like a giant doily. They are mostly rayon or poly or some other synthetic fabric that encourages sweating. 2) I asked on the phone if they have compression stockings. «Of course! Come on in»! They had three packs of stockings. Total. To choose from. and the sales woman had no idea what they were for, let alone how to help me fit them. 3) all of the other accessories have already been opened and tried on, like belly bandits and nursing items and whatnot. Maybe they have been returned? Their merchandise is definitely in rough shape. And those things never go on sale there. 4) If you buy anything online you can return it in the store but they don’t give you your money back — you have to take store credit. Which is awful if you have already decided the place isn’t for you. 5) when you make a purchase in store they push all of this marketing crap on you and ask for your due date and try to sign you up for magazines and give you all sorts of coupons even if you don’t want it. it is very aggressive and unappealing. 6) for being a store that caters to pregnant ladies, it is great they have a bathroom with a changing table. however the bathroom needs to be cleaned regularly if it is seeing a lot of use.

only place to buy decent maternity clothes in the New Orleans area! Something can be somewhat pricey like special occasion dresses(keep in mind: no returns or credits allows on these dresses) but besides that everything else is moderately priced. A lot of stylist special occasion dresses and other clothes for moms to bes to wear. Also they offer complimentary juice and water if you get thirsty! :)
