Enjoyed the hibachi and sushi. Very small intimate setting with good customer service. The lunch menu makes it an affordable daily meal.

Favorite sushi place. The food is very fresh, very clean restaurant with a charming onsite owner. Every selection has been overwhelmingly good. The Saints roll is a must try.

The best Sushi around!!! The customer service is amazing, you’re always treated like family here, no matter how often or seldom you’re able to go! Be sure to try the Tuna 4 Seasons and the Yammy rolls.

Great service and good food. Started off with edamame. We added a Tiger roll, Westbank roll and some Sashimi. Fish was fresh. Definitely recommend.

Wow!!! Fuji was listed as an option for Takeout Taxi, and since the last few times I got Mikimoto delivered, the fish hasn’t been very fresh, I figured I’d give Fuji a shot. I ordered a chirachi dinner, miso soup, and a special salmon handroll. All the fish was incredibly fresh and seemed to be very high quality as well, it all just melts in your mouth. The only comparable places as far as freshness goes are Chiba, Asuka, and Sake Don, at least in my experience. Also, the best egg sushi I’ve ever had. The miso soup was incredible too, along with the salmon hand roll. Keep in mind, everything was this good with a take out order!!! I can’t wait to give the restaurant a visit and try some of their speciality roles

A great little spot. The servers were very friendly, the fish was fresh, and the atmosphere was quiet. I’d put Fuji up against any of the glitzy places in NOLA. It may be a small space in a strip mall, but the food has class!

I love this place!!! They have fantastic lunch specials where you can get 3 rolls and a salad or soup for around $ 11. The hibachi is also very good but it’s not cooked in front of you so you don’t get a show which I don’t mind. The best part about the place is the owner who is such a nice guy and always makes you feel special remembering your name and favorite rolls!

Hands down best sushi place I’ve been to in Louisiana! Bit pricey but well worth the money. I’m used to very good sushi when I lived in Hawaii, but this place ranks up there with them! Very friendly and knowledgable staff as well!

Went here because I wanted to try a new sushi place and on the recommendation from my sister. This restaurant is in a strip mall and has a total of 7 tables, if that. The employees were generally nice and helpful and the restaurant was clean. The rolls were okay, nothing to come back for. Hibachi rice was good too. I got a few specialty rolls and a few regular rolls. They were all tasty but lacking in the rice department and were actually pretty small for the price paid. Overall, I probably won’t go back. If you’re worried about your carb intake, then go here. You can enjoy your sushi with the limited rice they offer.

Read the reviews and decided to give this place a try. The staff is friendly and will strike up a conversation with you during your meal if you are dining alone and they are not too busy. I tried the miso soup to start out. The broth was good but there was a lot of kelp in my bowl which i don’t care much for. The soup also had tofu in it which was fine. I ordered the Rainbow Roll and the Fuji II roll. They were both delicious. There is a generous amount of fish in the rolls and two rolls was more than enough for dinner. I had a hard time finishing the second roll. I will be back soon to try something from the kitchen.

To put it simply. My wife and I frequent Fuji Sushi because 1. It is close to our house. 2. The sushi is always good and fresh. 3. The prices are very reasonable. 4. The staff is super friendly. It is not the fanciest place, but it is very good. You could do a lot worst and spend more money by going other sushi bars. I like this place.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place before! Although I swear I’ve got more reviews on here that somehow have disappeared. *cues Unsolved Mysteries theme song* Anyway, when I lived in Metairie, I used to eat here at least once every couple of weeks. Whenever the BF(now ex) and I would go to dinner or do date night, we knew it would be Fuji. Same with going on with friends. We all love this place. Why? Because across the board, they’ve got everything you’re looking for. Will categorize by chronological order(in order of when you’ll get to experience the awesomeness of Fuji.) Parking– in a crowded Metairie/Kenner parking strip, normally I would be screaming with frustration trying to find a spot there. Luckily Fuji has two reserved spots that are rarely taken. So they usually have nice patrons that go here too!(Case in point, myself and all my loved ones! And even not so loved ones! lol.) Atmosphere– they pull off the word cozy without feeling claustrophobic like Hana. Except for the Fox News blaring,(yeah, don’t really understand how people can enjoy eating while watching the news. Chaos and Destruction does not make me hungry.) you would think you were transported into a Japanese sushi bar in Tokyo. Bamboo, cherry blossoms, and samauris artwork. All check! Service– AMAZING! A place that definitely prides itself on its repeat customer. For over two years, I was one of those repeat customers. And I still go there whenever I’m in the neighborhood. Food– I could go on and on, but I won’t. Appetizers aren’t really the bargain the sushi rolls definitely are. Their Hawaiian is one of my favorite things in the world. And I dream about their Rock and Roll II. Dessert– three words: fried ice cream. The best in the city. Lots of perfectly fried banana pieces and huge scoop of vanilla ice cream. Whenever I remember to save room for it, I am always happy. Bathroom– Clean, two stalls. Always stocked whenever I go. No complaints. So Fuji is definitely a class act. And in this rapidly over saturated sushi market, it’s nice to see a place doing quality AND quantity. I heart you Fuji.
