Great place! We had delicious grilled shrimp poboys. I ate every bite! It’s a casual place where you order up front and then take a seat with your number. Once the food is ready, someone will bring your order to your table. If you want a casual but tasty bite, I highly recommend this spot!

Haven’t had Poboy in a while… staying in Metairie this weekend and stopped by this place to get a an 11″ Half shrimp half oyster Poboy, fully dressed. I also used the Crystal hot sauce to add spice to it… it was dlish! The oysters and shrimp were perfectly fried. Finished it fast. Nice, clean, and quiet place. Will come back and try the fried pork chop!

I stopped here today after Mano’s posted pictures of their new interior on their Facebook page. I had been here 10 or so years ago when I was in high school and remembered it being good. Just an FYI– they have a sign on the front of the building that states their hours until further notice are different from the main sign. They’re open til 3 M-Th and I think until 7 on Friday and Saturday. Anyway, I ordered the eggplant parmesan via phone and picked it up. It came out right as I got there about 10 – 15 minutes later, nice and hot. Both the cashier and the older lady who brought out my order were very pleasant. The cashier mentioned that she hoped I was hungry, and I’m glad I was! My plate contained 3 large pieces of fried eggplant, a ton of pasta, and a huge amount of delicious red sauce. The side salad was small but impressive in that there were baby greens and tomatoes instead of plain lettuce. I was also given a piece of French bread, but it was kind of too hard to eat. However, the rest of my food was so delicious that it really didn’t matter. Nice tangy sauce, and everything tasted homemade. I’m pleasantly full, and still have a ton of food left. I will definitely be back.

They’ve definitely improved exponentially. To me, it’s now my favorite po-boy spot in all of NOLA. I am extremely picky when it comes to po-boys. The Leidenheimer bread is perfect. Nice and crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Their po-boys come loaded with meat and fresh lettuce and tomatoes. The roast beef is homemade, as well as the Cajun turkey. Both are VERY good. The Swiss cheese is good quality. The fries are cooked just right, and they use a good Cajun seasoning on them. They give you plenty of food and the prices are reasonable. I wish they were open in the evenings, but it’s not their business model, which I can respect. Take note of how many times the word«homemade» appears on their menu — impressive. The service is always very friendly. It looks like they are expanding. If that’s the case, awesome! Mano’s is 100% better than nearby Come Back Inn and 200% better than Cajun Persuasion.

Hole in the wall, nothing fancy — just the kind of place I love. We got there at 2:58! And they closed at 3, and they were happy to serve us. Food was tasty! I had a shrimp remoulade and fried green tomato po boy and it was messy but delicious! My daughter had a cheeseburger and fries. She said it was really good. Hamburger was huge! Hubby had a grilled chicken po’ boy, which he also enjoyed.

Great spot for plate lunch or poor boys! My «go to» is the hot sausage poor boy, links, dressed. Great sausage, the right combo of flavor and heat. They are expanding some come and get out!

I stopped here because I didn’t want fast food! I missed the daily lunch because I came at 2:30. The guy was super nice and I got a meatball po-boy. It was yummy! Obviously made in house!
