Huge ProTip: Don’t wait until the last weekend before school starts. Yeah, I told myself I wouldn’t, but I did. There’s a procedure that you will have to follow, too. First, walk in the door. Take a look around at the masses of people and annoying kids. Next, walk to the counter and sign in. Don’t get too frustrated over the 10+ people waiting ahead of you — it’s your fault that you waited until the last minute. Then you wait. And wait. And wait. If, by this time, you haven’t already given up, they will eventually call your name. The store associate will ask what school & grade, and then the fun begins. Already know what you want? Assuming they have it in-stock, they will run to the back, get it for you, and then you wait(again) for 1 of the 2 cash registers to ring up your order. Note: Neither elderly woman working the cash register is overly friendly. Need to try stuff on? Looks like they have room for that too. I didn’t bother. I just wanted to leave. Schumacher’s does screen printing for school logos(not sure of cost), as well as alterations($ 10). It’s definitely a one-stop shop. Oh, and you can buy stuff online too — something I will definitely do next year to avoid this mess. 3 stars because I got everything I needed in one place, but it’s definitely a tedious process.
