I recently did a facial and 60 minute massage here. I can’t rave enough about how wonderful my day was at Serenity! Deb gave an excellent massage and was great to ask about pressure and eased up on my tender spots. She even recommended when I was done what to ask for next time, either here or somewhere else, that would make the experience more helpful. Even though I have trouble relaxing, I felt great! And my facial with Keirnan was heavenly! My skin still looks fantastic after several days! She was very gentle and explained every step and what my much-neglected skin really needs. I left a very happy woman! Can’t wait to go back for my next treat-myself-day!

I used to only come to Serenity because I liked the atmosphere and although they are busy, they are usually fully staffed so you never have to wait long. I started getting gel manicures about a year a go and started going to a different salon because I got a bad manicure here that only lasted a couple of days. In the beginning of the summer, I got a gift certificate here so I thought I would give them another try. Literally the next day, two of my nails completely peeled off. I went back in, and they«fixed» them all for free only to have every nail peeled off within the next five days. Each time the two different ladies who did my nails appeared to really rush the process seeming to virtually skip the step of letting them dry under the lights for the set amount of time. I assumed they knew something I didn’t, but obviously this rushing and lack of attention to detail makes all the difference. I didn’t go back for another«fix» now I’ll just continue to go to the salon down the street where my gel nails last for almost three weeks. I’m really disappointed in quantity over quality that seems to be Serenity’s motto now. I’d love to see them get it together here, I’ve heard similar stories from other people who used to be faithful customers.

Unimpressive manicure!!! Very limited parking so ended up down the block parking on the street. Nail tech was very nice but had her dtr in the room and talking to her about homework & school projects. Painted skin and then did a poor job cleaning up after. Then there was a bug in the nail dryer. Overall just not impressed!

I had scheduled an appointment for a manicure and pedicure in advance and they called within less than an hour until my appointment to cancel. After calling them back they were extremely rude to me about it and they were the one’s who canceled. I will not be trying to reschedule. Extremely unprofessional and rude — unacceptable!

I got a basic massage and facial, both reasonably priced. They really take their time for your treatment. The massage is just ok but the facial with Caroline was worth it. She really got into those pores. Also very friendly personality to talk to. I liked the personal and cozy feeling of the place. I never give anyone a full 5 star.

BESTFACIALEVER Want to look like a glowing godess? Then run immediately to this place NOW go Seriously best facial and eyebrow wax I have ever had in my life. This lady is so gentle and effective its insane. A friend and I did an all day package with massages manis pedis lunch and facials. I did not care for the massage at all. It wasn’t relaxing one bit. The mani and pedi were just so so but the staff is super friendly and the facial and eyebrow wax were so good that they deserve five stars just for that. They also have a cute little gift shop type area up front. Bought some Dermalogica stuff there the prices weren’t too ridiculous on that but the facial regular price is $ 75. Wish I could afford to go there more often… Perhaps someday. …

First the girl on the phone when I scheduled my appointment was very friendly and helpful and worked with me on getting me an early appointment. When I arrived everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I got a manicure first and she was very friendly and did a fantastic job.(I suggest putting in the extra $ 5 for the spa manicure, the parafin wax felt so good!!) My hands and nails look much better then before. Next I got a facial, and I have never gotten a facial before. Well I am going to do this more often. She was very knowledgeable and a dermatologist. They even take into account what you normally use on your skin. I found out why my skin has been reacting the way it has. I received great advice on what to avoid using and some helpful things I can do at home to improve my complexion. ONTOPOFTHAT… I got a fantastic massage on my arms, hands, neck and shoulder, I seriously felt like I was in heaven. Now I go in for a long massage. I was asked what my problem areas are and what I would like to receive special attention. She was very thorough and paid attention to when I tensed up from discomfort and eased up the pressure. I feel like a million dollars! I am only in town visiting, but if I ever come back, I know where I am going to again!

I purchased the Groupon and got a mani-pedi 4 days ago. The quality is not nearly as good as other mani-pedis I have received in the New Orleans area. The paint is already chipping and peeling off of my finger nails, I would say about 30% is missing at this point. The staff was very nice and friendly but I was doubtful once my pedicure started, and when the lady painted my toenails she painted a lot on the skin, then used the beveled wooden stick dipped in acetone to clean up. I understand this is a common technique but I am not a fan. I think introducing acetone to the freshly painted nailed makes the polish weaker in general, and this is why the manicure is disappearing so quickly. Why not just paint more carefully in the first place? It was strange because the whole appointment took about 90 minutes(too long), but the quality isn’t something special to go tell my friends about. :(The place has a lot of potential because it is cute inside and the staff is nice, but I think the techniques for manicure-pedicures need to be improved, especially if they want to see more business from the Groupons. Usually the Groupons are great deals, but this time, with 25 $ for a mani-pedi, I guess I just got my money’s worth and nothing more.

I also purchased a Groupon and was disappointed to learn that I will be unable to use it prior to its expiration because there is only one person providing the service and she is booked up for the next 3 weeks which is conveniently when the Groupon expires. It’s irresponsible for Serenity to profit off the Groupon sales without honoring their end of the deal.

I had the best wax ever and a wonderful Mani/pedi at Serentiy while I was in New Orleans! Keirnan is an absolute waxing technician. I may have to move to NOLA just because of her!
