VERY rude. Highly UNprofessional. I honestly don’t know how they’re still in business. Stay AWAY! Not worth putting your skin or day in their hands, they’ll over-​promise, under deliver and find a way to treat you poorly in the process.

I have been going to this place for over a year and I have appointments about monthly. The doctor has a HORRIBLE demeanor and ALWAYS looks pissed off if you dare ask her a question. They’ve canceled or rescheduled my appointments 5 times and when I call to reschedule, they don’t have any times, let alone Any convenient times, for another week or two, which really messes up my laser schedule. I schedule these appointments months in advance to get a good time, just to have them rescheduled and have to continuously miss work. Lastly, I was quoted at about 5 – 7 laser treatments, and it’s been about 15. I understand these things take time, and it’s hard to estimate, but I think they’re stretching it out to make more money. Other places would have given a discount or something by now to make the customer happy. It’s just poor business.
Valerie is always nice to me, which is why I kept going, but it’s getting to be quite frustrating. I’m going to go to another place.

I purchased a Laser Hair treatment off Groupon and went in for my consultation. I noticed that they was very anxious to schedule appointments 2,3 and four months in advance. After all of my treatments I realized it wasn’t worth going to this Spa and that it would be best to visit a dermatologist because the treatments the guarantee didn’t work.

The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. I went there for laser hair removal. Dr. Pickens and Valerie were very knowledgeable about the treatments and addressed all of my concerns. The results were so awesome that I have already referred family and friends to them.
I have seen that some people have left negative feedback, and there is no way in the world that I believe it. Dr Pickens and the staff are more than friendly and have always gone over and beyond the call of duty. I would recommend that you ignore the negative feedback and try them out for yourself.
My experiences were 100% positive and I will definitely be going back. I would recommend Skin Science to any one!

I have never had such a bad over all experience. Even the so called Owner is very rude and nasty. They lost my appointment, and lied about me changing it. The owner did call me and accused me of screaming while I was there. These people do not care about helping you. It would be worth paying more money to go somewhere else, and not have the stress of such Nasty People.

Horrifically rude and unprossesional experience.
I chose to leave and to trust my skin to a business with more prudent hiring practices.
If a business doesn’t understand the social nuance of professional conduct, good manners and what NOT to say to a customer, why would I trust them with a potentially dangerous laser ?
I have had numerous laser services at several high end medical spas and doctor’s offices.
I would not trust these people at all.
The laser techs are neither nurses nor estheticians.
The doctor, of internal medicine, who supervises the laser procedures has a horrid manner and is neither a dermatologist nor a plastic surgeon. Frankly, I had zero confidence in her and left the premises. She behaved as though she didn’t want to be working in a salon of sorts and I wondered why she was there.
Singularly, NOT impressed. IMO, it’s safer and more prudent to go to an established dermatologist or plastic surgeon who specializes in skincare and has a proven track record in a cosmetic skincare practice and years of experience with lasers.
You only have one skin.
