The people at this location are very nice. Brandi is my dad’s stylist, and she does a great job. She makes the customer feel welcomed and relaxed. No appointment necessary as walk-​ins are taken. Also they are open on Mondays.

That Sabrina girl loves to cut men’s hair but she is also good at color. She is fast and professional. She has a bubbly personality that makes a haircut fun. She has 4 years experience and is trained by Matrix and it is a Paul Mitchell salon. No waiting.

Went to get my layers trimmed .got a decent really nice haircut… affordable prices and great service… Do ask for Sabrina. i for one will defbe going again

I have never felt a haircut so rushed. I was the only customer there (so it wasn’t like there was any reason to hurry) and she was done in 5 minutes. Most hairstylists will at least go at my cowlicks from multiple angles with the buzzer, but not this one. No attention to detail and no interest in the quality of the final product. Just wanted me in and out.

What a pleasant surprise. easy walk-​in service. Erin is a master cutter. The price is right. I am hooked.

This supercuts destroyed my hair. I rolled up in for a slight trim. I told her I wanted no more than two inches removed. My hair is nearly straight with no layers. What I ended up with was layers and bangs. I should have known something was wrong when she turned me away from the mirror.
Then when I called her out she tried to tell me that it wasn’t so bad and that it was super cute cut just like her hair. SHE GAVE ME HER HAIRCUT!
Uhm no… on me this is awful. A year later and I’m still growing out the layers she put in.
Never again!

A decent place to get a simple haircut/​trim. My boyfriend had gone here before and they gave him a nice cut. I have long hair that I usually keep pretty simple. I don’t want to have to pay an arm and a leg at a salon to trim the ends. This place does the trick nicely.
I recently went there and Erin cut my hair. She was very nice and attentive. I got about 4 inches cut off and it’s much easier to deal with now. Getting haircuts stresses me out a bit and I tend to put it off for a long time. It was very laid back here and I was put at ease. I’m sure I would feel comfortable coming back here in the future to get my ends trimmed again. The price was right and it was all easy and convenient.

Debbie saved me from a hair cut disaster (reference: Edward Scissors Hands hello).
Debbie sits in the middle of the salon, back faces the door, but she never hesitates to turn & greet you as you enter. Efficient in the task set before her, your hair that is, she makes you feel good once you leave. Less than $ 20 & you feel like a supermodel!!!
Upon entrance you sign in, have a seat & wait your turn, #easypeasy.
In total, seems like there are 3 stylists & tey seem to work a well oiled Machine. They answer the phone, greet the incoming patrons, cash you out etc.
Parking is a little hectic, but if you can’t find a spot in the strip mall, there’s always street parking.

Supercuts on Severn has experienced a recent managerial change within the past few months, as this store is now being managed by Kim. Kim is a former Supercuts manager from Mobile, AL and is very enthusiastic about making her store a better place. She knew me as a regular customer but had never heard of Unilocal before and was very interested in going online to read the reviews on her store so that she can address any issues that may be posted.
As stated in my last review, I have been a cutomer since my return to LA from L.A. Aside from the manager Kim, who cuts hair while she manages, the store has not really had much turnover. Erin (not mentioned in my last review) still cuts hair during the day with Debbie. Both Erin and Debbie have given me haricuts before and both are very competent «stylists».
The evening shift is still predominantly worked by Clarence and Chris. Chris is a good stylist too and has cut my hair in Clarence’s absence, but I always trust my «bald head fade» clipper cut to Clarence, as he is a wizard with a set of clippers.
I had the pleasure of geeting my first cut from Kim yesterday, as Clarence was not in and I desperately needed a cut. Kim is an excellent stylist as well and she can definitely wield a set of clippers. She is also very nice, but very professional as well.
This Supercuts was already a good store. However, it seems to only be getting better.

I was a little worried about coming here. And like most things. I was worried over nothing. I didn’t catch the lady’s name who cut my hair, but she did a great job and even told me about the neighborhood. I am just visiting for a month and she made sure I knew where everything was. The haircut was just a quick trim and she didn’t get too crazy with it. There was a bit if gossiping, but only with me. Maybe I just got lucky.
I feel like I under tipped her. I hope she doesn’t take it out on head the next time I visit!

All I’m saying is imagine the movie Deliverance but with a #2 guard. They yell across the floor at each other, gossiping, while cutting your hair. First rule of thumb, if you need both hands to do something, your brain should be in on it too! I don’t need to know your personal business.

Not bad but not great either. The hair cutters are a little too gabby for my liking. They do an OK job, but it’s a generic haircut — they don’t shave the neck, which I have to have done. Just run the clippers and you have to do the rest at home. Big place with lots of stations, but I’ve never seen any more than two employees at one time.

Good service if you get there before the crowd. Erin gave me an excellent haircut.
