I would have loved to have had the chance to review their pizza, but I can only review the service I received. I came home not long ago to their sale flyer on my doorknob advertising a large cheese or pepperoni pizza for $ 6 to celebrate their anniversary. I filed it in my head as a place to try sometime. So, tonight I was driving down Veterans Ave and decided to stop to give the place a try. I walked into the dirty little restaurant and asked the man behind the counter if they still had the $ 6 pizza deal. He said that they did and I ordered a large cheese. «You gotta have the coupon.» was his reply. «Are you serious? The coupon is at my house.» «You gotta have the coupon.» I can’t name any other pizza place that requires you to present a coupon for a sale. Maybe they did once upon a time, but that time has passed. So, Pizza Shoppe, your restaurant was dirty, your cashier was rude and unhelpful and your policy caused you to lose a sale and a potential customer. I will continue to order pizza from the Tower of Pizza down the street. They’re always friendly and their pizza is fantastic, where I’m fairly sure yours would be just about as good as your customer service was.
