I have special dietary needs. All of the cooks make sure that my food is cooked perfectly. I stopped going to chain restaurants because they can’t guarantee my food will be done as needed. The owner, mike, makes sure your food is done right and that you are happy with it. The waitresses are really sweet– hardworking.

Terrible. Just don’t go. I can list all the things to avoid but it’s better put to just not even step foot in here.

Was in the area and stopped in this greasy spoon for breakfast with a friend. It was just ok at best. The western omelet was over cooked and the ingredients themselves were not that great. Served with ok grits and ok rye bread it definitely was not anything to brag about. Its ok for 24 hours but when other options are available look around to find better.

Simply put, if you don’t want to run the risk of getting sick stay out of this place. I went in with a group of buddies and sat at the counter. Sitting on an overturned milk crate were cases of eggs and margarine being stored at room temp. While I understand that the refrigeration of eggs isn’t required, it is highly favorable to reduce salmonella risks. Needless to say I elected to not order anything. When one lady was working the hash browns on the grill, she was using her hands to directly touch the food after having touched numerous items around the kitchen. The floors in the place were absolutely grungy with build up from months of neglect in certain areas. I advise you to visit to see their health inspection reports to determine if you feel safe eating there.

We were staying across the street and decided to give this place a try. Very hard to tell anything about it from the looks outside but, the inside had a very comfortable feeling The server was very good and very friendly. The French Toast was delicious with syrup piled on and the coffee was fresh and hot. Great place for a reasonable priced meal.

Pretty«rustic» down home cooking with a waffle house feel. Very accommodating and the staff had a great personality! The French Toast and syrup was just as my mom always made it and the coffee was awesome! We tried just about everything and it was all spot on. Thanks!

Seriously good diner. Had the steak last night at 1:30 in the morning. I was pleasantly suprised it was very good. Not Ruth Chris, but above the level you’d expect at a diner. This is going to be a regular spot while in Meterie

Great food, great prices and gracious service was what I found at Tic Toc Café. It is a small diner, but don’t be fooled by the size. Open 24 hours and located just across the street, I made my way to the Tic Toc Café from the Holiday Inn Metairie. BOY was I pleased! The menu had great choices for both carnivores and vegetarians. The waitress made sure that our coffee mugs were never dry, and as my daughter stated«she gave me just what I wanted and I didn’t tell her! How did she know that I wanted this?»(regarding a huge billowy spray of whipped cream on top of her hot chocolate). I had the most delicious Mushroom and Swiss Omelet with hash browns and wheat toast(and lots of Tabasco ;) I would highly recommend the Tic Toc Café.

Great food, great service. We were looking for a solid breakfast and found it. Not good for large parties, but worth un-inviting a few… if you have to.

We stopped in right after New Years. Breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, toast. Service did not take long, and if you are regular, they have a mug with your name. If you forget how to pay, there is a sign on the table to head over to register. You can pick out our seats and parking can get a little snug.

Close to my home and I’ve read great reviews so we decided to check it out. We were seated within 2 minutes of walking in. Waitress was very nice and pleasant, our food came out within 10 minutes! What more could you ask for! I had the mexican omelette with hashbrowns. Better than wafflehouse!!! Will def be visiting again!

We stayed across the street at the Holiday Inn and decided to have breakfast after reading the reviews. I am glad we did. We had quick and friendly service. We were served fresh, hot coffee within minutes of seating. We ordered and our food came out quick and hot. The building and environment may look like a dive, but we found everything Inside to be superb and better than expected. We will be back again.

I had a really great BLT here — super crispy bacon, toasted bread, good amount of mayo. One waitress was really slow and inattentive, but the other was super friendly and even played peekaboo with my kid. Nice little diner with a home town feel.

My ideal kind of diner… quick service, friendly servers, cheap prices, and quality food. This diner has become one of my favorite places to eat breakfast aside from Waffle House. The menu is simple but everything I have had has been delicious. I love breakfast food especially hash browns, sausage, and eggs. The hash browns are some of the best around! The servers and cooks are all really friendly and they don’t try to talk your ear off even if you are the only person eating there at 3am(like I tend to do sometimes). If you like omelets, pancakes, biscuits & gravy, grits, and hash browns then you should try Tic-Toc.

Besides one of my coworkers recommending this place, the mural out front that bears a striking resemblance to a Salvador Dali painting caught my eye. I figured since it was another boring Sunday morning why not give this place a try. When I went in I was given a blow away greeting. The people here were absolutely friendly. Besides being very polite they were very helpful also. It has been a while since I have had great customer service like that. I decided to give their Down South breakfast a try. The sausage patties were good, and so were the hash browns. The biscuits and gravy were okay. The eggs on the other hand that is a different story. When I ordered the eggs I asked for over medium. No nice way of saying this but, they Fucked it up! The eggs were really runny and not cooked right. That is why this place did not receive a 5 star review from me. Oh well I guess that you cannot expect perfection. The décor is something else. The Dali mural out front is really cool! Inside they even had a droopy clock on the wall. They had an amazing amount of religious stuff in here as well. Signs that said things like,“Idle hands are the devils playground” dotted the wall. I am not really a religious man myself but the for the people that are they may like this place. This place is also a cop hang out. I noticed 4 police officers in their this morning. I guess the patrons probably feel more safer with the police presence in the building. In short this is a great place to go if you are religious, want good food and want to feel safe.
