I would like to say that this experience was better, but the truth was, Graebel Van Lines failed from almost the beginning. The woman who took my call was super friendly and responsive. She immediately set up time for the local rep to come to my apt to assess my stuff. Unfortunately I couldn’t get a time for over a week away, but I waited patiently(after having a bad experience with NA Van Lines). The night before the appt, the woman who was scheduled to come called to cancel. I appreciated that she at least called, and we had a good conversation. She said she could give me an estimate based on a weight assumption from another reputable moving company. I emailed her the info and never heard back. That was the end. I emailed her a couple of times with no response. I was practically throwing my money at them(and, mind you, I was requesting a full interstate pack and move from Boston to Houston, complete with insurance and storage — it would have been well above $ 10K). Seriously, what is wrong with these companies? Side note — I went to them because my company uses them for big employee relocations. My colleagues have noted other issues they’ve had(e.g., getting paperwork for the wrong person, etc.).

My husband and I have moved several(6) times in the past 10 years. We have had many different movers and Graebel did a good job. From start to finish the company was professional and helpful. They were fast, efficient and most of all they didn’t break ANYTHING! And if you have ever moved before that is an AMAZING feat! I give Graebel two thumbs up. Hope your move goes as smoothly as ours did.
