Hassey’s Grocery

All their food is very fresh. The owners are very nice and very friendly people. They care very much for the customers.

This little Mediterranean grocery has some really great imported items, like hooka tabacco and mediterranean cheese and Arabic spices/​ingredients, you can’t get at Market Basket and stores like that. In particular the Arabic bread they get is the best quality I’ve ever had. We pick it up weekly and keep it in the house as a healthy alternative to heavy white breads and to eat with hummus, etc.
They have middle eastern sweets, too, which are delicious. I don’t like olives, but my family does and Hassey’s does have various fresh offerings in their store that I pick up often as well that are a hit at parties, etc.
I also started buying their Orange Blossom honey after a fellow customer told me about it. It’s earthy and delicious, perfect for tea.
Like the new location, too. Much closer to where I live in Methuen on the Salem NH border.

New Location in Methuen is great! Right off of exit 46 you wont miss it! Friendly family who will assist you with everything you need while your in the store.
