We recently had a home inspection completed by RJ Home Inspection. Scheduling was very easy and they were able to easily accommodate our timeline. On the day of our inspection Brett arrived early. He explained everything that he found and gave repair recommendations, he was very thorough and efficient. We received our report when promised and it exceeded our expectations. The report was clear and well organized. I would definitely recommend RJ Home Inspection!

I recently purchased a new home and had the pleasure of working with RJ Inspections, Inc. The inspection was scheduled quickly and seamlessly. I particularly appreciated the electronic communication updates leading up to inspection day. On the day of my inspection, I arrived several minutes prior to my scheduled time. Brett was already on-​site and I was met with a warm greeting. The inspection was both efficient and thorough. I was impressed with Brett’s knowledge and articulate explanations. My experience was further elevated upon receiving my inspection report later that evening. The report was extremely organized and informative. Thank you to Dave for your assistance in coordinating and to Brett for a job very well done! I would definitely recommend RJ Inspections to other homebuyers!

I had a home inspection performed by Adam in June and it went great. Adam was very professional and did a thorough job. He was able to answer all of my questions and the resulting report was delivered within a few hours after the inspection. If the need arises again, I would not hesitate to use Adam again.

I had a home inspection done by Adam at RJ Inspections and it was excellent!
They said it would take anywhere from 2 to 3 hours to go through, and even though the inspector took his time and was thorough, answering all of my questions, photographing everything, we were done in an hour and a half!
He arrived a little earlier than I did, and by the time I got there he had already begun looking at the outside of the house, so when I arrived he caught me up to speed quickly.
Being a first time home buyer, I wasn’t 100% familiar with a lot of the systems running the house (plumbing, HVAC, etc.) but he took the time to show me the different components and filters for each piece and explain what I’d need to know and what to call a licensed tech to do for me if I ever had problems.
I’m not actually in the house yet, so I can’t say for sure if he missed anything, but for a first time home inspection experience, and not knowing what to expect, he was very friendly and made everything seem a lot clearer during and after the process.
Would definitely recommend, and use again!

RJ did a home inspection for me in 2010.
The cons:
* Missed a lot of issues that I truly believe many other home inspectors would have found.
* Poor level of customer service. I found the owner to be, at first, unresponsive, and later very insulting.
The pros:
* When I complained about how dissatisfied I was with the initial inspection (and my agent agreed that it was a very poor job), a new inspection was conducted at no additional charge.
* When I brought some of the issues discovered after I purchased the house to the attention of the owner, he provided a total refund of the inspection cost.
Bottom line: I would never use again nor would I recommend this service to anyone seeking advice on a home inspection.
