I made a pit stop here just before a brunch gathering to pick up some prosecco and/​or champagne — walked in and noticed that the shelves were somewhat bare and the lady behind the register barely spoke a word of English. She at least greeted me and asked if I needed any help — when I did ask her if the store carried champagne, she showed me a 6-​pack of Shipyard Ale. I finally got her to understand what I was looking for and walked out with some cheap bottles of California champagne and a bottle of prosecco.
Bottom line — better prices but less selection than your average liquor store. I guess when your clientele prefer well vodkas, that’s what you stock up on.
