Lure Lash

I had to call multiple times during regular business hours to schedule an appointment which was a huge turn off to start. The place is not particularly polished and I felt like it was not super clean. While other lash salons I’ve been to have used a special fabric lined, soft touch tape to separate the lower lashes from the top lashes, this was my first experience where the location seemed to have used regular scotch tape. Needless to say it was very uncomfortable. Other lash salons I’ve been to, the lash application was very relaxing, although at Lure Lash, I felt very tense and uneasy. There were a number times there was a sharp sting /​tugging followed by a «Oh Sorry!» which was disconcerting. I was disappointed with the final result as the glue seemed very thick, many of the lash extensions were glued to two to three of my natural lashes rather than just one lash, and the lashes were not glued close to the base of the lash. For the experience I had, the price, and the difficulty to schedule appointments, I won’t be returning and I would not recommend Lure Lash to friends.

Had such an amazing experience here every single time I have gone. I have seen krishna, carmela and anna and all are equally amazing in their own ways. I truly have had a great experience every time I have gone, and the ladies are all very talented.

my friend recommended me this place and I think they did a great job on my lashes and the first time I got them done I actually went three weeks without getting them filled and they still looked pretty decent. I will definitely be going back. the first time I went I had Anna do my lashes and this time I got Carmela and they are both very helpful and friendly. I would say try the 2d if anyone wants a fuller set of lashes with the volume I will be trying that next time for sure!

After my review I made an appointment with Carmela and she honored her word and gave me a discount. My second time around was great. My lashes looked exactly like I expected with what I was working with. I would definitely visit again .
Carmela Is great example of how a business owner should conduct business and with her service she will excel in this business. Try her out you won’t be disappointed.

I’m not quite sure how this location has so many great reviews, but I can say for sure they are not the best I’ve experienced by a long shot. I decided to try this place because it was closer to my house then the place I would normally get my lashes done at. I can say in the 7 years I’ve been getting my lashes done, this place hands down has the worse customer service ever. The first appointment I had was pretty ok, but every appointment thereafter was just so terrible that after this last time I’ve decided to find another place to go.
First of all, there is no one to greet you when you come in. The techs rarely even look up from their chairs. Secondly, none of my appointments ever started on time. Thirdly, they don’t tell you what you’re paying for, is it the time in the «chair» or the lashes you’re applying? My last appointment started 15– 20 minutes late, and then a client walked in for the wrong day and my tech abruptly stopped my fill and said I was done, so that she could take the client that wasn’t even supposed to be there! I was there for a two week, 1 hour fill, what I got was barely any fill and all of 27 mins in the chair. When I questioned what I was paying for the answer was, well when I’m done you’re done. WHAT does that even mean???
They dont explain lash care, or what products are safe or not safe. If you have too many lashes that fall off, as opposed to naturally shed, they tell you to come in more often, instead of trying to figure out what might be causing it! (ie face wash with unapproved ingredients)
I will NOT be going back!

I constantly get complimented on my lashes. Great work. A bit pricey for the fill ins. The store is clean and the staff is friendly. I don’t like the tape that is placed around your eyes, so for an extra $ 4 they can apply a gel patch which I feel should be included with the service, since tape is not meant to be applied to skin. You won’t be disappointed with their work. A++

Lure Lash of Metuchen definitely gets 5 stars… the staff are friendly, informative, knowledgeable, professional and love what they do! I Always leave feeling fabulous… I have been getting my lashes done for almost 2 years now and couldn’t imagine having any other place do my lashes. I used to go to their Montclair location and only switched to Metuchen as it’s closer for me. I have had several of the ladies do my lash extensions as well as eyebrow tinting and waxing and I’m always 100% satisfied. Eyelash extensions give your eyes a fresh and beautiful look and the bonus… you don’t have to wear mascara… just wake up looking and feeling Beautiful! Thank you to all of the wonderful Lure Lash Ladies!

If you know the eyelash extension scene in New Jersey, North Jersey has its hidden gems leaving the rest of the Garden state with no love … Until now. Gone are the days of going way too far up the Parkway for my lashes to get done.
I read good reviews for the Lure Lash location in Montclair but I’m VERY picky when it comes to my lashes (I’ve learned the hard way).
My appointment was with the aesthetician, Anna, who was professional and informative. My eyelashes came out beautifully ! They feel light but look full. I’ve been to different salons before and can definitely say that their price for services are more than fair. You get what you pay for, but for quality eyelashes, this place is hard to beat.
This location is currently under renovation but it seems like they’re getting put together. Just a few things: Krishna, one of the other technicians, applied an eyelash prep that did sting my eyes. She may have just been a bit too generous with the application but she was quick to remedy the situation and apologized. I also didn’t notice if there was a hand sanitizer near by, which I’ve had in previous experiences in other salons, so I was really banking on hand hygiene [I’m a Nurse !].
Overall, I would have to say I’ve found my new go-​to !
