Some of the worst Chinese food I’ve had in a while. For starters the rice was very undercooked. The rice was almost raw which made the food almost inedible. The fried chicken I ordered was seasoned well, only problem was the chicken still had feathers on it. It’s so unfortunate that they sell food like this

Just found a metal«staple» in my Egg Foo Young. YES, a staple. Now it’s just become frightening and intolerable. The food has gotten progressively worse and like other posts, the staff is not pleasant, food missing on orders etc. They have now lost a long time customer for good.

First off, in the winter time the place is freezing whenever I go in and place an order. They are not that friendly either. Fried chicken wings tasted past their due date, fried rice was hard and not edible, and did I mention they aren’t that friendly?!?

Placed an order for pickup and when I got home, I had to hire a P.I. to search for the pork for my pork fried rice.

The food is mostly good the attitude of the people is bad they just don’t give a dam if you like their food or not they are more interested is churning out orders rather than their quality of food. The free egg rolls or their egg rolls are so loaded with oil it’s not even worth it if it’s free. This is just the way this young generation does business basically they don’t give a darn

This is the best Chinese place in the area! I’ve ordered from the countless times and they’ve always been on time and complete. Anytime someone visits my house they always ask if we can order the«good Chinese food». The soup is the best, the boneless ribs are great and pretty much everything else is wonderful too! At any other place I would stick with chicken and broccoli but here I venture out and try tons of new things. I am always pleasantly surprised about any new dish and my current favorite is the pan fried chicken and noodles. And if you like spicy the Mongolian beef is amazing. I could go on and on but try it for yourself! They are also on grub hub.

There are many Chinese restaurants in the area however this one to date is the best. Food is fresh, delivery is fast and there’s always left overs for lunch the next day. We always do delivery… Haven’t eaten at the location.

I don’t think they deserve a full 4 stars but considering the current standing I’m more than willing to give it to them. It’s hard to find something other than cheap stuff going over to Rutgers. This place does a solid job. I’m usually not that adventurous, I’ve had garlic chicken, chicken and broccoli, wonton soup, and lo mein. It’s never dry and packs good flavor. They aren’t stingy either. I can can have enough leftover for lunch. It’s the little things they fall short on. The price is a bit high and don’t offer those awesome combo meals you usually see. I usually get delivery but the average time is 45min — hour. At least there’s an option to pay online. Worth a shot and definitely not a big risk.

Their delivery is fast and their Mongolian beef is the bomb. Other than that, this place is a regular Chinese take out place but it’s clean and their food tastes fresh. One issue I have with this place is that their meat to vegetable ratio in some of their dishes sucks. My son ordered beef and broccoli and it was mainly all brocolli with only a couple pieces of chewy beef. I also had this issue with their chicken and cashews with it mainly consisting of celery. On the other hand, the Mongolian beef dish uses a much a better quality of meat that is tender and they give you way more.

Not the best, but not the worst. These guys can be hit or miss depending what you order. The scallion pancakes are small and oily, but at least they have them. I’m not a fan of their steamed dumplings, and their dipping sauce for them is just a very salty soy sauce. The general tsao is also not very good. But, the moo shu and egg rolls are good, and you can order online which is nice.

I really wish Unilocal would let reviewers give half stars, because this is one of those times where I would give this place 3.5 stars. I decided to round down because of their service. We haven’t been in the restaurant itself. We only ordered take out. First, let’s talk about the service. Our order is pretty simple, a quart of wonton soap, chicken and broccoli and chicken and eggplant in spicy sauce. We googled this location and found out we were only 9 minutes away, so it should be pretty quick right? Plus, their website promised us that delivery would take around 25 – 30 minutes. And we managed our expectations based on that. However, the order didn’t come until an hour and 5 minutes after our order time. The delivery guy couldn’t find our apartment number either. I’ll cut him some slack for that one because the building is confusing. He at least found the correct building. In terms of the food, it was delicious and plentiful. They gave us two small take-out boxes of rice with our order. My boyfriend managed to finish his dish and I think I finished about 1⁄3 of mine(weak I know). We managed to kill the rest for lunch the next day. The chicken and broccoli was really good, broccoli was nice a fresh. They only use white meat chicken, seeing as both of our dishes came with it and they didn’t specify that as an option when we ordered online. The chicken and eggplant was good as well. The eggplant to chicken ratio is way off, maybe like 3:1. If you like eggplant, then definitely get it. The spicy sauce has a kick to it as well. Overall, I like this place. We will probably go there next time instead of getting delivery. Or we’ll order an hour ahead of time instead. Either way, it’s worth a try. Definitely one of the better Chinese places I’ve had.

I don’t trust any other Chinese takeout place. I’ve had very few, if any, issues with orders and the food is always warm. The service is quick and everyone is pretty friendly there. The portions are in proportion with the price. My family always gets the steamed chicken dumplings, which are delicious, especially with the sauce that comes with it. I usually stick with my General Tso’s chicken(I ask for it with white meat) or Ma Po tofu. You can also order with brown rice if you’re looking for a healthier substitute. For a night when you’re too tired to cook but still want sustenance, try Mia’s! Its Chinese takeout though– don’t expect a 5-star meal.

I work pretty close to Mia’s garden and find myself getting lunch here at least once a week. This is definitely one of my favorite take out places in the area, they are friendly and the food is pretty good, although some items are much better than others. The best part about this place is that it is clean, something I definitely can’t say about a lot of chinese take out places. There’s like 6 or so tables inside so you can actually sit down and eat, and it’s pretty cheap. A lunch combo platter and a can of soda is about $ 6. Worth a trip if you want basic chinese take out that wont either gross you out or get you all rumbly for the rest of the day.

Everything here is perfectly adequate and fairly well-executed. We order here when we are craving basic Chinese take out. Delivery is quick and you can place your order online, a convenience that makes this our go-to place. I am sure you can find each individual item better done elsewhere but it is just fine, and the convenient online ordering sets it apart.

Solid Chinese takeout. Good quality dishes, quick and friendly service and quick delivery as well. Yummy dumplings, delish beef and broccoli. The beef is tender it melts in your mouth! The kids love the sweet and sour chicken,(I know, not really Chinese but they like it.) All their ingredients are fresh and we have never been disappointed. They give you free fresh Pinnaple with your order which is an extra treat!

We order take out here on Friday evenings now and then. It’s your typical Chinese take out place but serves up some awesome eggplant/broccoli in garlic sauce! Delicious Lo Mein too… Very quick service, you order and the food is ready for pick up in 10 minutes. The place is clean and has a few tables, but never seen any customers actually eating in there. If you want wholesome takeout in a jiffy, you bet you can depend on this tiny but efficient place.

In this restaurant, seems to be a variety of common ingredients have a magical charm, the food must be very carefully to do to be delicious food. Meat and vegetables are all in a variety of beautiful posture, bright color, delicious taste, elegant. How could you not praise? white rice, praise the dishes in red green, with such a mood, before every meal, a sincere praise food. So, we can fully enjoy the sweet taste of food, we will have a healthy body, a pleasant mood, have a beautiful morning, a sweet afternoon, a special evening candle. Food, it can bring us so much happiness.

We dine here almost every week. It’s a clean Chinese carry out type restaurant that also has free delivery. The food is tasty and they serve top quality ingredients. The owners, cooks, and workers are friendly and willing to adjust the taste according to your request. If ever in this area and craving some Chinese American food, come down over to Mia’s Garden.
