Chicken mango salad I my favorite. And there wings are great also. I really havent ever had anything bad there. I love I can get plantation you can them just any where. I love they have live music though I have to agree with some other post some times it can get a bit to loud but the bands are great so don’t stop having them. Maybe just adjust the level or the way the speakers are pointing

We really enjoy coming here while vacationing at Mexico Beach. We always go super early for supper(4:30−5:00) to miss the big crowds. It’s SUPER noisy here. Great for the kids. My son always gets the cheeseburgers with applesauce. They have excellent salads.(Fresh!) I have tried the Islander Chicken Sandwich and their Shrimp Po Boy. No complaints!

The three-star rating is pretty accurate. The servers are friendly, the food is pretty good(it’s bar food). The menu is a little pricey. The kitchen is slow. So if you have time to sit and wait, it’s not a bad choice, just not my first choice. **There are not a lot of highly rated options in this area, so we decided to try this place.

Do not get the fried mushrooms. Way too much breading and fried extra crispy. Hardly any mushroom left. Had the floribbean chicken dish which was okay. I liked the yellow rice and black beans the best. Service was decent. A little pricey in my opinion.

Ordered the shrimp basket and cheese burger minus the bun. The coleslaw was yummy. Have been ordering piña coladas all week at various places and this one was definitely the best. Great service, no wait, food came out fast!

This place got cudo points from me right off the bat since it was one of the few places open for a late lunch early dinner. My husband and I ordered the homemade chips as an appetizer, I ordered the fish sandwich with fried plantains and my husband got some chicken wings with a side order of fried plantains. The homemade chips were nothing fancy but still delicious and fresh. The fish sandwich was good. I liked the fact that the fish filet was large so you can really taste the fish not just the bun which I’ve run into at other places. I would’ve like the filet a little crunchier but that’s my personal taste. My husbands wings were tasty but again the skin on the wings were a bit soggy for my liking. The fried plantains were excellent! Being that I’m Hispanic I’ve eaten plantains a lot in my life. These were cooked perfectly and I believe they added cinnamon which made them extra sweet and delicious. I would defiantly eat here again to try some more of there menu items.

Okay décor. Great ceiling. The bar area is plush. The dining area isn’t. We ate on a picnic table. Foosball was fun. Food was bland(not seasoned). Sup– par Mango Mai– Tai. Don’t eat here if you are in a hurry.

A little pricey depending on your dish but otherwise the atmosphere is excellent and the staff so friendly you’ll think you are home. The Unilocal team needs to fix the location for check ins. It says it’s 1.1 miles away when you’re sitting inside the place. Clean facilities. Great food bottom line. Check it out.

Don’t waste your time! We ordered the shrimp po boy which was a total disappointment Our waiter was Robert(4th day on the job) he recommended their Jamaican me crazy chips which were horrible– homemade chips with blue cheese dressing and crumbs on tops with green onions for $ 7 bucks. I ordered my shrimp fried but it came out blackened instead and the po boy only had 6 shrimp. I’ve never had a po boy with 6 shrimp– all I could taste was the sauce and bread. My husband ordered the catch of the day fish sandwich. He ordered it blackened but it was so spicy he immediately felt sick. Our check was $ 34 for our lunch and the new waiter needs more experience.

This place was recommended to us… so basically the person who recommended it has been completely discredited and will never try his recommendation again. One star for the basic food that was good. I ordered the fish sandwich and my boyfriend ordered a burger. The wings were average. The service. What service? We had a server? You mean the person the person who took our order and delivered our check was a server? Our server really had no idea what was going on or that she was employed to provide a service. There does seem to be other people employed there that know what being a server means, and this person was helpful. We might try this place again but I won’t settle until we have the lady who actually took care of us be our server.

We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, plantains, coleslaw, fried fish sandwich, sweet potato fries, mini cheeseburger, grilled cheese sandwich & topped it off with the brownie & ice cream dessert! Everything was hot, fresh & our server was awesome!

Went there twice with a group of friends and overall it was a good experience. Service: The waiter was very nice and attentive. The place was packed the second time so the appetizers took longer and the drinks went a WHILE without being refilled, so waiter gave us both for free. Food: The fried fish sandwich with a side of plantains was the bomb. The mahi mahi was good, but the side of rice was not all that good. I wish the portion was bigger. Price: Not bad for the quality. I would go back.

Pretty good. Atmosphere — Overall, the vibe of the place was very beach-y. Our family of five felt a bit out of place at dinner due to the crowd of people filing in for the bar. Lunch would probably be a better family vibe for sure. Service — Our server was good. Not the best, not the worst. His attitude was very pleasant but our order was wrong. Food — The food wasn’t worth the price. Between the five of us, we had two kinds of wings, Mac and cheese, chicken and shrimp, and the fried plantains. The fried plantains were the best by far. The chicken was dry, wings were nothing to write home about, the Mac and cheese seemed boxed, and the fried shrimp were good. Not a bad place for lunch, probably not the best dinner spot for families.

Nice place to go and hang out, its a bar and grill but friendly enough to take children. Live music several days a week. The wings are the best in town and probably the best I have had in the panhandle. Burgers are decent and the chicken sandwich is pretty tasty as well. The place is a local hangout, visit there more than once and you will start to recognize everyone. Staff has always been friendly usually bringing my beverage without even having to order it.
