Pros: Excellent Belly burger– super juicy and tasty; garlic chili fries were out of this world; garlic catsup is a must; kiddos loved chicken strips and Tetris tots(nice touch); fish and chips were crispy, served nice and hot. Con: Only disappointment was the pulled pork– chunky pork instead of ‘pulled’ was intriguing, but dry and sauce was too sweet. Not a deal breaker tho-so many other great choices. Beer(lots of interesting IPAs) and wine too. Shelves of hot sauces to try. Don’t forget an ice cream for dessert-if you have room-creamy and top notch! Some seating inside and a few outside tables too which was perfect tho a bit noisy from nearby highway. Staff gets five + stars — friendly and helpful.

This place is super cool and super delicious!!! Their staff is super friendly and they allow dogs. Be sure to visit the model car museum… We bought a tiny replica of our jeep here! BUTGETHERESOON because the owner is selling this place!!! my favorite menu item is the garlic lover’s because of the gouda cheese! Remember to get here quick and ENJOY!

I love Andy’s Mountain Grill so much it is a definite stop every time I visit the mountains. My favorite item on the extensive menu is The Bourbon Burger and french fries with award winning house made Garlic Ketchup. And nothing goes better with a burger and fries than a milkshake made from one of the large selection of flavors of ice creams served there. Whether I’m eating all warm inside on a snowy day or in the bright sunshine outside on the patio surrounded by beautiful giant pine trees I always take time to visit the model car store inside the restaurant. I have loved model cars since I was a kid and this room makes me feel like a kid and has resulted in me starting my own collection I now keep in my office. Next trip I’m going to be looking for a dark bleu Ford F 250 Super Duty 4×4! I CAN’T WAIT!!!

Great burgers and great service! Very family friendly. Melissa was fantastic in making sure we have everything we needed and even let us take our time to finish our meal after closing.

Great BLT sandwich. Had to wait awhile but worth it. Hubby liked Cuban sandwich. The bread on the BLT was awesome. Small place and casual. Friendly staff and food prices were reasonable. Will definitely return.

Stopped by this place on our way home from the snow and it was fantastic! Food was fresh with lots of flavor… I got the Philly cheese steak it was loaded with 3 different bell peppers and was full of cheesy goodness… my husband got the loaded garlic fries and they were just that… loaded! Kids got chicken strips and fries… staff was super friendly! Place is a little small but they make it work… we’ll definitely be back!

I’ve lived in the area for over 20 years and I still don’t know how they still do business. They take forever to get your order out. If you called in the order, good luck. My brother called in an order and they told him it’d be 30 minutes. We arrived about the time the food should’ve been up. Took 10 minutes on a non-busy day to get to pay for the order and when we did, the fries hadn’t even been dropped yet. We spent an accumulated time of 1 hour and 10 minutes for 2 burgers and an order of chicken strips. As a 25 year resident of this community. Go somewhere else. Also Andy is a total waste of flesh. He doesn’t respect customers or his employees. I’ve known a majority of his employees since I was in grade school. They all hate him.

Stopped by to pick up a cup of hot cocoa, and hubby decided to try their tri-tip sandwiches. Did it take a while? Yes. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY!!! The bread was tastefully soft and fresh. The onions-bell peppers were perfectly cooked, and the steak… Was perfectly seasoned and so delicious. Place is definitely worth a try.

My SO and I rented a cabin nearby and bought enough groceries to last through the winter so we weren’t planning on eating out at all. However, the cabin’s welcome binder talked this place up and it definitely wasn’t a disappointment! We both ordered the Baltimore burger with ghost peppers. It was just the right amount of spiciness, greasiness and juiciness to keep us warm on a snowy winter day. They have a wide selection of craft beer(on draft too!). The décor is your usual burger joint, but the model trains and trucks room adds personality. Personally, I like their bookshelf of hot sauces! Andy actually walked by(he’s the cook) and asked how our food which I thought was nice and gave this a nice personal touch for this joint, esp. to us city folks pretending to be outdoorsy with our flannels.

Very interesting place. I felt like I entered a toy store with thousands of cars model(most of them are customized models like school bus with monster wheels etc.) The food is good. The only thing that I don’t like is the teriyaki burger. The sauce overpowered the tasty meat. Should have order the garlic burger instead.

They lost our order, and it wasn’t that busy. We were sitting on the patio with our number clearly visible – and we even asked at one point to check on our food(as everyone else who arrived after us got their food. Once we brought it up, they said it’d be another 25 mins. No thanks, refund given, not likely returning. Update 10⁄6: They took two months to post a reply! How can they possibly remember what happened that day, when in fact, the cashier told us THEYLOSTTHEORDER! So, the business owner does not know the facts, and they took 2 months to respond. Bad customer service, I was going to try them out again – but now I won’t return… I wish them all the best!

Its not so often you find a different eatery like this one, where there aren’t many choices you have like in cities. Last Sunday morning(12th July 2015) when we started off from the Christmas Tree Inn to Yosemite, we thought we would have some breakfast and get something to-go for lunch from some nearby eatery. We found Andy’s and stopped there. It was 9:00am and when inquired, the lady told that they are not yet ready. Then we asked where else we could find some sandwiches. Then she told us to wait. «If its just sandwiches you want, let me quickly check if we can prepare it for you». We were happy when she said come in. We were 4. We ordered four turkey sandwiches as breakfast and 4 veggie sandwiches to go. The large ones are extra large and were tasty and fresh. Since we had to travel 3 – 4 hours before lunch, we asked her if the to-go sandwiches would become bad by that time. She said that since it is veggie, it wouldn’t go bad for sometime for sure. We finished the breakfast and when we were about to leave, she came with a bag of ice so that we can put our to go sandwich package inside it to make sure it stays good. This was an unexpected pleasant experience. As costumers, we felt happy about it. Another interesting thing is the motor cars, tee shirts and all those things which are on display. Andy seems to have customized the shop to the maximum. Its was altogether a different and good experience.

I could only stop in really quick today. I’ve been trying to go by Andy’s but just hadn’t had the time. I got a cold pastrami sandwich. I got to work and had my sandwich. It was so good. I’ll definitely go back and get a burger soon.

My wife and I try to stop here every time we are in the area, it is one of our favorite place to go. We know know that every time we come we will get a tasty high quality meal, you’re may have to wait a little longer than you are use to but it is totally worth the wait. On our most recent trip I had the spicy meatball sandwich, it did not disappoint. The ghost pepper cheese is a great complement to the marinara sauce, and the meet balls themselves tasted great. My wife got a cheese burger, and loved it as she always does. We opted for the standard garlic fries this time and not the buffalo garlic as I normally get, those too were very tasty. M All-in-all, you can’t go wrong when going to Andy’s.

When traveling wilderness you don’t just want to go have any grill and deli, you want mountain grill and deli. Serious mountain wild food. This is what you will find at this place. A café briefly before the wilderness that serves delicious sandwiches. As their sign says, they make good food not fast food, so be prepared for a wait. They make their own sandwich bread too! While you’re waiting for your food, there is a room behind the main entrance with the biggest selection of car models, vintage car models, vintage car pictures and all kinds of mini cars, i have ever seen. From the original corvette to the latest helicopter model — it takes a while to look at it all. I must also note the bathroom at this establishment is quite interesting. It advises to not flush your child or spouse down the toilet because of their delicate plumbing. Good to know. I guess ill have to flush my boyfriend elsewhere. Oh, the sandwiches. Yes, usually by the time you’re done looking at the cars and reading all the signs in the bathroom, the sandwiches/food should be about ready. Enjoy your wilderness sandwich. It’s good.

All but given up on a quality meal in Twain Harte, Mi Wuk, PineCrest… etc We dropped by Andy’s on the way to hike Pine Crest. Looks generally unrecognizable, nothing to make it stand out other than a huge sign that said breakfast. Ughhh, why not! So happy that«Ughh, why not!’ ended up being our new breakfast place. Andy’s is so good. At first it seemed that everything was served in burrito form. Nothing really wrong with that. But we decided on a pretty basic breakfast, and not only did we love our meals(both days), but it seemed that everyone there loved their meals. Can’t wait to go back for lunch and have a beer on their little outdoor… ummm,…seating area.
