100 Montaditos

Unfortunately Montadinos could not survive. With those prices at Lincoln Road, it was a bit too good to be true to start with. and now party is over for good. Management changed the whole menu, the name, prices, it is a whole new restaurant now, claiming Mediterranean but not really.
Sad.

This place is great for people watching, however most of the places on Lincoln Road mall are.
You can get a cheap picture of sangria, order a couple small sandwiches for have a meat and cheese plate. It’s overpriced, but again, the location.

If I could give negative star I would. Since my lasts visit, I chose to give them a second try only to be more disappointed.
The waiter who was serving us had close to 15 tables.
The food came firs than the drinks.
When we wanted a second round of drinks we had to wait so long that I went to the bar and asked if I could get the drinks my self. I was told by the man at the front to have a sit that the waiter was on his way.
After ten minutes he comes by the table. We told him, we want to stay but you will have to bring us the drinks and actually serve us, his reply was I am sorry I am busy with too many tables.
Skip this place it will only give you disappointment

I don’t know where to START, the unprofessional little dick manager, the angry and rude waitress, the nasty dirty table that we clean it to take a seat, and we waited 1h for 5 mini sandwiches that never came!!! Shorty-​the worse «Manager» still wanted me to pay for the food we never got.
Man such a waste of time

Just left Lincoln Road location and I’m still a little confused about the added 18% Service charge. When I asked our waitress if tip is included, she said «No, 18%, it’s for our kitchen help, dishwasher, etc».
I’ve never heard of that in my life. She was slick. I’m gonna call their office on Monday to see if this could be explained a little better. No big deal but I want to hear this one.

I don’t quite understand all of the negative reviews for this place. Considering there is such a high concentration of tourists in the area it’s great to find a decently priced place to grab a drink in a snack.
However, I wouldn’t suggest coming here in a hurry. If you’re just with friends and have time to kill then it’s a good deal for the area.

I have to say this place actually made me feel like that I was crazy, because the service was so bad it upset me that much, that I thought there was something wrong with me.
I actually left with no refunds or anything because it was just taking so long I felt that I was losing out on life in general.

Just walk across the street and go to Sushi Samba pay a little bit more and get triple for your money.

Is everyone on Unilocal crazy? This is Miami, and you’re getting sandwiches for $ 1. One dollar! I can’t believe someone would call suggesting a $ 3 sandwich an «upsell» lol. Good luck finding anything in this town that is this good of quality for this price. I’m a small girl and two montaditos fill me up. Thats $ 6 if you «splurge» for the $ 3 specialty sandwich (which is totally worth it). We just went for the Wednesday deal and its unreal. We got four montaditos, a salad, two sodas, and a side of fries for $ 10. A $ 10 meal for two people is cheaper than subway and its actual fresh meat and bread, not stuff thats been sitting out for days. service is slow but there has to be some down side. This place is awesome. Anyone complaining needs to remember what city they’re in.

Nice little snack/​meal, depending on how many of these little suckers you order. STILL haven’t found one I don’t like. Rumor is they’re opening up one in Main Street, (Miami Lakes).

Tip for the restaurant. ** let customers order at the counter, take a number and then bring sandwiches over! So much more efficient!
We originally waited at the counter to order and were shooed away. They told us we had to order at the tables if we were dining in, then no one came by for like ten min! Plenty of waiters running around, no one to come take orders. We saw another table walk out he door because of slow service!
Fix this 100 montaditos!
Still good prices especially on dollar wednesdays… only thing that kept us here for over 25 min hoping for food. As we were giving up and leaving the guy at the cash register finally asked if we ordered. When we said not yet, he walked away! What kind of bs service?! Bye SoBe 100 montaditos!

A Miami Beach, tout est très cher. Ma soeur m’a parlé d’un resto de tapas super, et attention le mercredi: tous les tapas à 1 dollar, les accompagnements à 2 dollars (patatas bravas, fries, etc.) et le mug de Sangria ou de bière à 2 dollars aussi. Ça vaut le coup !!
Il est situé sur Lincoln Road, l’endroit touristique par excellence. On est arrivées très tôt, après la fin de journée de taff de ma soeur, vers 18h45. On a d’abord commandé une sangria. Et puis on a pris 3 tapas chacune, avec un accompagnement.
Il y en a vraiment pour tous les goûts: poulet, poisson, mozzarella, chorizo, etc, etc. Sur la carte, les tapas sont triés par genre et aussi par goût: ceux à la mozzarella, ceux au poulet, etc. Pratique !
On a donc dégusté notre sangria en attendant nos tapas, et petit à petit j’ai vu une file d’attente se créer devant le resto !! On a été chanceuses d’avoir une place, en terrasse bien sûr!
Le service est sympa, la personne qui s’est occupée de nous est restée souriante et agréable, malgré le monde, et les commandes à n’en plus finir.
D’ailleurs pour commander: on note les numéros de nos tapas sur un papier, qu’on donne à la serveuse. Comme ça, pas d’erreur possible!
Tout était bon, même si les patatas bravas sont en fait des potatoes et né valent pas les vrais, espagnols ;)
Très bon plan pour manger à la cool et pas cher, le mercredi !
Attention, à Miami les taxes né sont pas incluses, et les tips (pourboires) non plus. et ils sont obligatoires. Alors il faut rajouter 2 ou 3 dollars à la note. Ici, les tips étaient inclus sur notre note, calculés automatiquement (2,53 dollars) + les taxes.

It was just bleh! Everything is just that.
I understand I got there late at night but they refused to make the little sandwiches for me, they said they could only make the platters, so I went ahead and ordered the calamares, huge mistake. They are definitely frozen, and it was like eating breading with some kind of aioli, ridiculous. Whatever! They waiter felt bad, asked what was wrong with them and I said «they’re bleh!» So he said «oh I’m so sorry! I’ll give u a discount!» :| I didn’t want one, I just wanted a decent bite to eat. So with that being said, I honestly don’t think I will be coming back here.

The food was great. Tasted just like it did in Spain! Service could use a little help but otherwise a great experience!

Little stop in this place for beer and tapas with friends. Tapas are not to bad but the service is to long. We ordered chorizo and cheese with delicious bred, calamari and prosciutto.
I will go back to see if I can update my review

Service was atrocious and has been before. Our waitress was good, but who ever she came out with to bring the food was a disaster. Plates should have been separated by name, yet this guy told us «You should know what you ordered» with an arrogant and snarky attitude (Young kid with no customer service experience) plus it was 6 of us, and all the sandwiches look somewhat the same. One of our friends told him, «That’s your job, not ours,» and he just repeated, Well you ordered it. What a douche…

I love this place! They need to open one in LA & OC!
I went on a wkday for lunch, service was great! Not too crowded, but I heard it gets extremely packed sometimes. I love variety & this place has a 100 different sandwiches to choose from! Very inexpensive for the quality! Sandwiches range from $ 1-​$ 3 only!
I had 8 different sandwiches. The mini baguettes were baked perfect, crispy & soft. I can’t remember all 8 sandwiches, but the CHORIZO & TORTILLAS (which is eggs) was great!
The BRIE CHEESE, GARLIC PORK LOIN, VEGGIES was amazing! That one was my favorite.
PHILLY CHEESE STEAK & BRIE was also good.
The CHICKEN CLUB one was mediocre.
Party of 3 total, w/​tax & tip: $ 30.

Very inexpensive food. I had a mediocre goat cheese salad.
Our waiter was a bit of a wild card. I asked him a question and he took it as an accusation and cussed at me. I laughed at him and made sure we were on the same page. After that he was okay, but the service was pretty bad before that. We waited a really long time to even get our sangria which was really sweet and didn’t taste like it had much wine in it. I was in great company so I had a good time regardless, and my friends liked their sandwiches.

The place is nice for Lincoln Road… but men. the service was terrible and so slow!
They forgot our order, and said sorry we lost the ticket!
Food was ok, we ordered tortilla. i would have loved some onion in it, like the spanish real deal and fried calamari, we def had better than that ones.
But the salad was good. the only place ive tried with regular dressing as im use to.
Over other table i saw a plate of fries and little sandwiches wich looked good.
Music pretty loud for noon.

I see from other reviewers that this 100 Montaditos has a bad rep. But, I must say, compared to other restaurants on Lincoln Rd, this place isn’t half bad.
What I love most about 100 Montaditos is the ordering system. You have a list of different Montaditos, or small sandwiches, to choose from, and they are separated into different categories by price. If you’re adventurous, you can visit on a Wednesday for their special of all Montaditos for $ 1. It usually gets very busy.
What stands out for me are the Bravas potatoes. I love these potatoes, especially with a side of spicy ketchup. Yum! There are so many sandwiches to choose from that I can’t choose one that I like the most. Anything with Serrano ham for me, please!
While this isn’t my favorite place to go, sometimes you just want a little sandwich for lunch, and 100 Montaditos is the place for that.

I’ve been dying to try this place since a friend of mine went there and wrote great things about it, although she went to a different location. So yesterday was the day, and man I was excited!
I decided to seat outside to enjoy the street sighting of Lincoln with its characters, locals or internationals, and enjoy a beautiful day with family and friends. I was instructed by the server that I could choose any available table to seat, which I did. After that we had to wait, wait, and wait. Finally I spotted a server and I waived to her so she could come and take our order. Our wait was long enough that we had time to to go through all 100 options and choose ours!
We asked for the Tuna, fresh mozzarella, and tomatoes/​Smoked salmon, tomato, fresh mozzarella/​manchego cheese tapanade, and tomato/​chorizo, manchego cheese, and peppers/​pulled pork, manchego cheese, and peepers. We also ordered their french fries with jambon Serrano and we asked it to come with their Ali oli sauce. It that was really grease and good! We were so hungry that when it came before the montaditos, by the time that our sandwiches came out we had finished the fries, and we were licking our grease fingers to extend that good yummy taste.
Finally our little montaditos came in and I could not wait any longer so I started with the tuna, that was really good. The tuna did not taste fishy at all and the seasoning was on point, and the bread was fresh and crunchy. Feeling happy with my first choice I moved on to my second option the chorizo one… Well, that one did not go at all as I expected, the sausage had a very funny taste, I could not taste the pork meat in it at all, only the fat. I was so sad and disappointed, because I love sausage, lamb, pork, chicken, you name it. I love them all! Maybe I had very high hopes? I don’t know, it just did not hit me at all, so much that I didn’t even finished it.
I carried on my experience hoping that my third option would clear my taste buds and bring me back to my initial happy place, but to my surprise it did not. The pulled pork did not seem to be fresh and had no seasoning whatsoever. Again, pork is something I really like and I really expected it at least to be seasoned, well this one was not. I thought about ordering another one, but I was sad and did not feel like trying anything else, so I ordered another portion of fries to go back to my initial set of mind. I also gave a bite on the smoked salmon and it was fine, nothing spectacular that would make me order it again.
Service was slow and I was the one calling for attention. Because it was in the middle on the street and I was talking, laughing, having a good time with my company it did not mark as much as it should.
Overall I had an OK experience. Will I come back? Yes, I will, but it will not be on the top of my list of places to visit. They have 100 options and I only tried 4 with only one good hit, so I guess I have another 96 options to go through…
Sadly I cannot give my «must bookmark» rate to this one…

We stopped here spur of the moment for a late night dinner (1030p) on a weekend. This is a Spanish eatery with indoor and ample outdoor seating.
I opted to order the following Montaditos:
–Pitcher of Sangria to share ($ 8)
–Shrimp
–Philly Cheese Steak
–Hamburger
–Nutella with Oreo cookies
Bite sized sandwiches and plenty of choices. The food and drinks are actually really good. I love the patio seating outdoors. It’s unfortunate that the serviced lacked. Firstly, the dude that provided us with our waters didn’t know squat about the menu. When we asked for drinks, he came back and said that they were out of a couple of the items.
The waitress was another story. She was nice, but didn’t come around often. Seriously, after our dinner, we just waited and waited. I think we could have just one-​by-​one left the premise and no one would have known!
Anyways, I paid $ 11 for my order. I was actually pretty stoked for a cheap yet filling last night dinner.
P. S. Grat is already included in the bill. LAME…

Love this place! But the service is terrible, although see you next Wednesday!!! It’s worth the deal.
I’ve already been here 15 Wednesdays since they opened.
I’ve already been here 15 Wednesdays out of the total 20 wednesdays they’ve been open… Sort off.
…and I will go back again every Wednesday, if they’re open.

If you never been here, YES, they do have 100 mini sandwiches to chose from and 5 with a side of fries is more than enough on 1 meal… for a short/​skinny guy like me. Waiters and waitress = They have gotten the bad mood. They are NOT happy workers. Really dissapointed. Hostess always changing, not any have been «on top of the list and tables. Makes sense why they keep changing, no one wants to do it… Vibe is loud… loud inside. Ok outside. Keep that in mind… I am Latin though, so loud is my thing after 2 or 3 beers. :-) eeeehh!!! Cheap too!!! Every Wednesday, everything for a Dollar. A DOLLAR $ 1.00 Sandwichitos! Do iiiiiiiiiiit!!! With $ 10 including tip = Satisfaction. Not bad for Lincoln Rd. Actually… the best!
