Had Evan cut my hair which it hasn’t been cut in 2 years and let me say this… he is one of the best hair stylists out there. He’s very well versed on the latest techniques and I highly recommend him for the time you want the best cut of your life.

Wonderful service from the front door throughout. Excellent thorough pedicure with Diane, and Rhonda is equally as thorough– both are super personable too. Advance appointments highly recommended. Not inexpensive but quality.

I saw Asher the other day and he did an amazing job. I’m not a fan of paying that much for my hair, but I was in desperate need and decided to treat myself. My hair looks and feels great. My appointment was at 12:15, so I was able to order lunch and they even gave me a tray to eat on while I waited for my color to process– that was really nice. I give 4 out of 5 stars because the shampoo experience was pretty basic. If I’m paying that much for a cut and color, I’d like a really nice shampoo experience. I used to work in salons and know that that experience can make the price worth it. This goes for ALL salons I’ve visited over the years– Hey! Get with it on the shampoos! Add in a little massage and you can expect me to return sooner rather than later! But– Asher is very talented, precise and thorough. Go see him!

Evan Wingate is someone I highly recommend. I followed him from his last salon to 7 when he transferred. 7 Salon is much classier and accommodating. The people are friendly, the service is top notch and no one takes care of my hair like Evan.

I have been to essentially every nail salon in South Beach, and the outcome has always been tragic. Ngoc Chu @ 7 Salon is by far the BEST! My Mani/​Pedi is always perfect. This is not a «cuticle chop shop» so expect to pay more for a professional job.

I have had my share of bad haircuts in my life and I was ready for a change.
I had passed by 7 Salon many times, as it is just around the corner from my condo and decided to give them a try. I was expecting a foofy place but to my surprise they are super friendly and not too expensive ($ 50).
I had the good fortune to discover Julia, who claims her ex-​boyfriend had the exact same hair as me so she was familiar with what I wanted.
I got a fantastic haircut and the service is great… they always offer you a drink and the shampoo chair gives you a back massage too!

First, Very much impressed with the service. All the staff seemed very friendly and pleasant to talk to. When I first arrived, Christina offered me a drink which is a nice touch.
And most importantly, I LOVED MY RESULT!!! Christina did my hair just the way I wanted!!!
So happy that now I found a new salon that I could go to!!!
will DEFINITELY go back again.

This salon is expensive but has a nice neighborhood feel. There has been new management for the last year, improving on an already good experience. There’s no ‘tude here anymore.
Most of the senior stylists are extremely good and very nice. Facials are consistent and good. Mani/​Pedi staff very nice and well done. Managers and front desk are accommodating and gracious.

I was so excited, I thought I found my Miami nail place. Alas…
There are so many positives.
First, I did not have an appointment and they took me as a walk-​in on a busy Saturday. Also, I am not bilingual so to have such nice staff that you can easily communicate with was lovely. They have tons of Essie and Opi new colors which I love love love. I also was never made to bleed, which i HATE especially since I don’t have fake nails. They were super clean, and current on nail trends. My nails came out super cute.
Cons: Expensive, parking can be complicated in the nearby area. Pricey
I just cannot justify a $ 65 mani/​pedi that chipped almost immediately. For this reason, 3 stars :(

The staff is über friendly and non– South Beachy attitude which is a nice change of pace
I have 2 recommendations as it relates to this place:
1) great color work… Evan is the best! Great color, always does a great job. Prices are average, with a slight upswing towards pricey.
2) don’t get any other hair treatments done. They advertised beach wave perms, so I gave it a shot since I’ve been so happy with the color I’ve been getting. The girl who did my hair was super nice, but I later found out she had only done this service once before. Needless to say, the perm didn’t take… she quickly washed out the efforts and blow dried it straight. I think that process wiped out any natural curl I had before I got there. Not only did I waste a few hours of my day but it totally damaged my hair. My hair has never looked so damaged, I’m a bit devastated. Of course, they did not charge me. Imagine my disappointment– all they pain and none of the gain. I don’t blame her, but they should not claim to be experts in a field they have no experience in, or at a minimum give full disclosure so I can decide chances. It would have given my hair a fighting chance.

Having such great reviews I expected my experience at 7 Salon to be exceptional. Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The salon is nothing out of the ordinary. It is actually much smaller and cramped than I imagined. The manicure and pedicure I received was not worth the price they charge. My nails even began to chip 2 days after the manicure. Also, the manicurist I had spent the entire time complaining to me about how much she hated Miami and wanted to move back to where she was from. Her complaining took away the relaxing feeling I was looking for. I did like that the salon offered all the latest O.P.I. and Essie colors. I wouldn’t recommend this salon with the obscene prices they charge. There are plenty of great salons on Miami Beach and in Miami that do not charge nearly as much and offer better services.

I had a Gilt City voucher for a mani/​pedi here and decided to treat myself to some «me» time this weekend and use it.
Positives:
–The employees are all super friendly
–The salon is appealing to the eye
–My nails and toes look great
Negatives:
–Regular prices seemed a bit high, but typical for the beach area. It may take another voucher from one of those sites to get me back in
–The salon, while it has nice décor, feels a little cramped for space
–The pedicure station isn’t super comfortable for short people! I found myself scooched all the way forward to have my feet in the water
–BIG ISSUE: On 3 of my fingers, I have scabs on my nail beds from where she scraped the skin too much during my manicure. Although the polish looks great, she was definitely really rough, and now I have the wounds to show for it on my fingers.
Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed myself, and I’d definitely recommend if they have another discount voucher and/​or if someone is totally okay with paying $ 65+ for a mani/​pedi.

I had a Mani pedi here on my birthday. Just me and my nails. The salon is clean and comfortable. My technician was sweet and the pedicure literally lasted for a month. I didn’t allocate enough for this apt… It took 2.5 hours but it was worth the time!

Went today for the first time. I opted for a junior stylist to color my roots. The senior stylists stepped in to share their recommendations and seemed to act like mentors. I thought that showed something about the environment behind the scenes, which is the foundation for the bigger picture. The prices were reasonable for the beach and the results were fantastic. The color came out great and my boyfriend complimented me on my hair immediately when he saw me. I get my roots done every 3 or 4 weeks and that doesn’t normally elicit any kind of reaction from him. Great job by Nadia!

I’ve been going to 7 Salon for a year now, and have loved every visit. The staff is beyond friendly (one time I didn’t have enough change foor the meter, and instead of just giving me change for my dollar, Eddie actually went out to the meter for me, so that I wouldn’t have to delay my appointment). The salon itself has a hip but unpretentious atmosphere that is right up my alley.
Then there is the massage chair hair washing experience. Love.
Then there is Jodi, who does an amazing blow-​out, and and equally amazing cut. I don’t color my hair, but Jodi did a friend’s color (blond on brownish hair), and it was great. She also listens to what you want (i.e. cut a little actually means cut a little), but will not let you fall victim to an ill-​advised whim (i.e. she gently persuaded me that my natural color is great, and that I don’t need to color my hair, one day when I was in the mood for a «change.» Crises averted). When she blows out my hair, I always get a million compliments on it. She is awesome.
Once, when Jodi wasn’t available, I went to Evan, who did a fabulous job. He also threaded my eyebrows expertly. I think it’s important that a salon have a team of great stylists, in case you have to go to a new person in a hair-​mergency when your regular person is booked. This salon is no one-​hit wonder.
The regular manicures and pedicures I have gotten from Ngoc have lasted for weeks (literally, manicure with regular polish lasted me 14 days), and they also do the shellac/​gel manicures really well.
In a word: Love. If you’re on the fence, get off of it and get to 7 Salon. Your hair, hands and feet will thank you.

Evan at 7 Salon is simply the best. If you live in the Miami area and you aren’t going to Evan you should change that immediately! I live in Baltimore, MD and come to Miami at least 4 times a year for Evan to highlight and cut my hair. Evan has been my stylist for 12 years and in several different states. He is definitely worth the trip to Miami Beach!
There are several exceptional qualities that you want to see in a stylist and Evan has them all. First, he will give you an honest opinion on what will look good on you and what won’t. He will not do anything to your hair if he thinks it’s not going to make you look your absolute best. His extensive experience in the beauty industry gives him a huge repertoire of ideas for hair styles. He’s sure to find the perfect one for you! Second, he knows his products. The color line he works with doesn’t damage your hair so you won’t leave with broom straws on your head. And if you need advice on the best shampoo, conditioner or styling product Evan can rattle off your best choices before you can even finish your question. Curly hair, straight hair, thinning hair, colored hair or natural … he’s up on the latest and greatest for styling and caring for it all. And third, he’s just a wonderful person to get to know while he’s processing your hair. You won’t even realize you’ve been there for an hour you’ve enjoyed your experience so much!

I had him thread my eyebrows and dye my eyelashes on my last trip to the Salon and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I have super blonde eyelashes and tinting them really made a huge difference! I keep thinking I forgot to wash my mascara off and then remember I’m not wearing any.

Super-​friendly staff that speaks fluent English in Miami??? It does exist after all.
Purchased a mani pedi dealtificate. I had to book an appointment several days in advance as they were booked. Showed up on Saturday afternoon, was greeted with a big glass of cold water and didn’t have to wait.
Jackie did my mani and pedi. She was awesome, took her time (35 – 45 minutes each) and listened to what I wanted. She was also very gentle and thorough. I hate it when they butcher your limbs. The utensils came out of a sealed bag, always important. The products they use smell heavenly, like tropical fruit you want to eat.
The spa pedicure area is awesome. Instead of the usual massage chairs they custom built a huge cushioned bench topped with tons of pillows. They use big square kitchen sinks to soak your feet. This is the most comfortable I’ve ever sat while getting a pedicure.
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 are their regular prices. I think they are high considering the location and compared to other salons.

One of the best salons I have ever been to. Christina took such good care of me. She really pays attention to detail. The salon is beautiful, clean, well maintained, And in a convenient location. Great polish choices too. May try their hair services next time too
