The BEST gelato west of Italy!!! When we stopped by what seemed like a random gelato store, I had no expectations. Really, what lured us in was the giant cone outside on the sidewalk, it looked really good even though it was plastic. Good marketing. All I knew was that I needed something sweet to top off my dinner.
An assortment of flavors awaited us inside this all-​white interior branded with the purple Bellamia logo. For whatever reason I gravitated towards the classic flavors — vanilla and chocolate. I’ve had artificial-​tasting flavors too often at other gelaterias, so I knew to play it safe by sticking to flavors that are hard to mess up.
Two scoops in a cup, best $ 5 I’ve spent in Miami. On my first spoon, my eyes rolled up to the heavens. Mmmmmm… I haven’t had gelato this good since… well, Italy. So rich and creamy the way gelato should be, such true flavors coming through, I could taste the vanilla bean and cocoa. I spilled the chocolate on my white dress and didn’t even care, it was that good. As her name implies, Bellamia is a beauty and a real Italian gelateria with locations in Italy, Spain and even China, but this is their only location in the US, so you better get some if ever in Miami!

Walking in south beach enjoying the scene and thought only thing is missing gelato! Walked in and were greeted by owner nice italian man. I was full so my husband ordered gelato but then i saw they have authentic nugat and rum gelato and i had to have some… It was very yummy. He has many cool and unique flavors. I had the nugat with rum and some kind of fig flavored gelato… Must try

Refreshing amazinly fresh italian gelato –realy realy good taste; phostasio, hazelnut and giandua are the best flavours !!! Really delicious!!!

Amazing gelato to love !!! It is so soft and really delivers the taste of little Italy !!! The store has lots of amazing flavors and also you can buy the bottle of water there for very regular price compare to all Ocean Drive!!!

Got gelato, ice cream, and cookies while in South Beach, and this was my favorite place! Service was fast and friendly, and the peanut butter gelato was my favorite.

Good! Pricey BUT that’s Miami for u! Italian ice cream seems authentic. Worth a visit

Man, I don’t even remember the last time I gave an establishment the coveted «5 Star» badge. Consider it done.
Forgive me– I don’t remember the names of what we got– but one had mint chocolate while the other scoop was cream meddled with Marsala wine. Both were smooth, creamy, not cloyingly sweet but just sweet enough. Excellent on all fronts.
The gentleman manning the gelato station was also exceptionally nice and patient with us and the other customers.
An A+ in our books.

Try every flavor !

I’ve had gelato in Italy so it’s hard to go back to the American kind. The gelato was yummy, but there wasn’t that many favors to choose from. Also it was on the pricy side of $ 5.50! I liked how I was allowed to choose 2 flavors for a small. I got the stracciatella and hazelnut. It was a hot day so my gelato was melting at warp speed. Kinda hard to enjoy when I had to scarf it down. It was yummy, but for the price I definitely had better. The service was amazing and friendly though.
