We for the first table in the restaurant tonight. Waited 30 mins to get water and drinks. That was the start it only got worse. Great good good scene. The service was so bad I would never go back.

We came here for my friends 30th and it did not disappoint! The ambiance is great, very cool and Miami and we managed to get a table outside by the pool. We decided to split a few dishes and we started with a burrata and prosciutto which was creamy and delicious, steak tartare which was really flavorful and the tuna and truffle oil pizza which was out of this world! After that we split the duck ravioli which was hardly worth splitting as there were only 4 ravioli’s — I’d have been disappointed if this were my own dish although it tasted great. Finally, we had the chef’s special risotto which was seafood risotto with a red snapper fillet. Along with the tuna pizza this was the highlight. The snapper was really meaty and full of flavor. The risotto was in some amazing broth and it all seemed to just melt in our mouths! We then split the desert plate and they were kind enough to add a candle for the birthday boy. My only compliant is they kept running out of drinks but I’ll blame that on the bar next door that is separate — they didn’t have 4 of the beers on the menu and only 1 out of the 6 Port’s on the desert menu — which he advised us not to get as he didn’t think it was any good. I appreciated his honesty but why is it on the menu if its bad?! I’ll definitely be back here next time I’m in SoBe and highly recommend this over some of the equally expensive but lesser quality restaurants on Ocean Drive.

We were seated right away without a reservation which was very nice, but also should have been a sign that this restaurant is not great. The restaurant was very beautiful on the patio of the Delano and it was shielded from the wind under the tent. The bread in the fig balsamic with olive oil was delicious, that is the most memorable food item we received. The food was tasteless and we ended up only eating a few bites. But it was a beautiful restaurant, I just wouldn’t return.

We had 4 solid star lunch with some desire for improvement. My Impression is that this restaurant really rocks a wonderful dinner. The Unilocal photos are seriously lovely. The atmosphere here is wonderful. Think elegant but not too intimidating. One of the diner’s at our table enjoyed a lovely Burrata with prosciutto and charred bread. It was well plated, creamy and envy worthy. I ordered the grilled romaine with chicken and was excited about the lemony anchovy dressing it advertised. I was left begging for salt, wanted a lemon and more dressing. The chicken was unremarkable, pretty dry and bland. It was a bummer because typically I love grilled salads. For the price one would have hoped for a slight bump in the flavor. Once I ‘doctored’ it up it was great. My husband had the Cobb salad that he really enjoyed. We also liked the grilled calamari but again I was hoping for a bit more flavor. The thing is I would go back for sure, I know this is a special place and even if I had a less then special plate I know that it was a one off. I would not turn down a meal here… It’s pretty old school swanky.

Bianca did not disappoint. We had the burratta with prosciutto. It was great. The burratta was super creamy. It came with a walnut pesto dressing that tasted great. The prosciutto was very fresh and not very fatty(which i love). It was a very high quality cut of prosciuttto. For dinner we both had the bolognese pasta. Our server told us it was made with beef, pork, veal. It was great! I recommend this place 100%

The Delano has surely seen better days. Inattentive staff from the doormen to the waiter. I ordered the pomodoro. I can get better spaghetti from a box and better sauce from a can. While not an über expensive meal, I would have rather dined anywhere else. All the while, the in house DJ played the worst elevator music I have ever heard. However, the lovely gentlemen who cleared the table and poured the water got a $ 20 in cash.

The entry was divine. Loved the beautiful deck and ambiance. The wine was way overpriced. Good, but totally not worth almost $ 400 for 4 people. The food was mixed. The burrata/prosciutto was the best thing we ate. Kale salad. meh. Highlight of entrees was the risotto of the day. Delicious, but how hard is it to make delicious rosotto? Duck was definitely undercooked and rather flavorless. The lamb was cubed and taken off the rack, and a bit dry. I can’t imagine a reason to go back again, unless I can expense it and want to give out of towners an enviro experience.

I am still thinking about the delicious meal we had yesterday. After thoroughly looking through decadent bottomless brunches, I decided to take a chance on Bianca even though there weren’t that many reviews or pictures up. Bianca is an italian restaurant situated on the first floor of the Delano on South beach, a very classic hotel. They hold a brunch every sunday from 11am-4pm. It is 75 $ per person, and includes bottomless veuve clicquot or bloody marys. We were seated outside, which was comfy chairs with very neutral colors leading to the pool. There was a antipasti station that had caprese, different types of salads, including a delicious bacony potato salad and bakery items such as croissants. The next station we decided to try was outside, the grill had fresh lobster, chicken, steak, oysters, and shrimp. The shrimp had a nice mediterranean marinade. The lobster was so succulent, with a butter herb sauce on top, was fantastic. We ended up having like 2 – 3 tails each. On to the raw bar, had some shrimp, stone crab, and they had mixed seafood salad as well. Would’ve loved to see some oysters. My husband had this idea of having lobster in his pasta, and so the pasta station chef agreed to add lobster to his creation. They had squid ink pasta, farfalle, and penne. They had a marinara, alfredo, bolognese sauce. There was also plenty of different vegetables and meats to add. This was also an omlette and pancake station as well. The pastas came out sublime! There were several small petite desserts, I chose the tiramisu, brownie and the cookie, very soft moist and sweet. The service was impeccable, and our server kept topping off our glasses, they were rarely empty. We loved this experience so much my hubby said we ought to make this a habit, and discover a new decadent brunch at least once a month. Will definitely be back!

Went with a very large group to Bianca for dinner. It was an amazing venue that has a beautiful long hallway entrance, deck on both sides with floor-to-ceiling curtains. The decadent plush and fur seats invited people to never make it through. If you somehow made it through the gorgeous walkway, you find the most beautiful patio setting with stairs that lead down to another cabana area. We enjoyed drinks after near the water that you could walk and place tables in. Overall, it was a stunning setting and I would absolutely recommend it as a venue for large events. 4 stars was given for the very limited pre-fix menu(chicken or steak) and difficulty getting attention of the waitressing staff.

I thought this place was an okay place for dinner. We had a lovely table outside, next to the beautiful pool. We got the following: — Meat balls — these were actually quite amazing. I don’t care how many hours this has been braised, but a great stand out on the menu. — Roast Chicken — this was actually lovely as well, with a great bed of spinach underneath. Nicely cooked and great skin. — Petite Filet Mignon — I actually loved the polenta more than the filet itself. It was unfortunately not as cooked to order as I wished, but it was a good piece of meat. — Assorted desserts — there were some great truffles and a good cannoli served. Overall, relatively okay restaurant. The restaurant served us a white and a red which I unfortunately do not remember and it was absolutely terrible. With that, and the not standout filet mignon, I’m giving it a three stars.

Haven’t been here a long while. Had a Cobb salad and it was just delish that I cleaned out the entire big bowl, which is rare. Everything diced small and perfectly, chicken pieces were juicy, bacon bits thin and extra crispy, and all the veggies were of great quality and delicious. Very well balanced and dressing(on the side) was mild and yummy. Took meatballs w 12-hour gravy to-go for a friend and they satisfied his selective palate. Nice simple yet diverse menu; service was great. bit slow… but that’s just fine — just relax and enjoy the beautiful scene w great music in the background.

Brunch @ The Delano on a Monday? Sounds fantastic! Wait who’s paying? Ahhh Yasssssss not me!!! Excellent, the menu looks amazing! The pool has always been nothing short of stellar and now we’ll be indulging in the ambiance of Bianca! I ordered the eggs Benedict which was truly delicious! The eggs were cooked to perfection, the Iberico ham was delightful and the french bread perfect! After I polished off my plate, I couldn’t resist the urge to dabble in some of my cousin’s dish, the Lemon Ricotta pancakes, and needless to say, I’m Soooo glad I did! Finished off brunch with a couple of tasty«Spicy Bloody Mary’s»… A perfect way to end a pleasant brunch! Can’t wait to go back!

Romantic and lots of people watching, and lots of elegance and a bit of snobbery. Pretty tasty, but not my fave in South beach. The pool area at the Delano is a must see at night and the food is pretty good, but not any better than any other place we regularly go. I loved the burrata appetizer with procuitto and lovely toasted Italian bread. We had the ginormous porterhouse for dinner and that took it all over the top for me. Just too much richness for my body — could not finish much of this, and we shared it! I probably would not return, I’m keen on trying some other places — after all, competition is steep here in South Beach.

The ambiance is mesmerizing in the evening, with candles flickering in the outside courtyard. The service is impeccable. The cuisine delectable! As a musician and a diner, the piped in «house» music was a distraction and interfered with my thorough enjoyment of what could have been a memorable romantic evening, hence the 4 stars. This music is suitable for a happy hour, or dance club. Thump, thump, thump is simply not conducive to a relaxing fine dining experience. Hire me to refine your music.

Bianca it’s one of my favorite spots in Miami. It’s a must to stop by for their amazing breakfast/brunch… And If I don’t I wouldn’t call it a complete trip. I die for their lox & bagel The best you could get. Tried their omelette, Benedict and French toast everything was delicious. Their brunch is very tempting. a bit expensive but worth every penny. They have fresh delicious sea food such as lobster tail, oysters, crab claws… Grilled meat. and a huge dessert selection to die for. Thinking to give it a try next time. The atmosphere is fantastic, the outdoor seating is gorgeous! The service is amazing! I’m truly in love with this place not only the restaurant but the hotel it self. Simple and chic. Hope someday I can afford to spend a night or two or three. At Delano :)

Last week I went to the first of many monthly pop up dinners at Bianca at Delano in Miami Beach called Let’s Eat. Every first Monday of the month, the next one being March 2nd, Bianca finds its inner Soul as chef Amaris Jones prepares a five-course menu that pays homage to her R&B Philadelphian background. Lifestyle maven and chef Amaris Jones has spent her lifetime honing in on the perfect iteration of the modern Soul Food concept. Thirty something years later, she credits her Father’s Church on Philly’s famed South Street and her family gatherings, as the birthplace for her love of this cuisine and lifestyle. What is so awesome about what Amaris does is that she takes traditional fried chicken, mac & cheese, and sweet potato and turns them into a dishes that will keep you coming back for more. On the pop up menu you are able to try her Bird N Bubbles, a southern fried free-range chicken basket with a sweet potato biscuit and champagne split and the Naw’ Leans, which is wild local shrimp with a Cajun crème sauce over white cheddar grits. Both dishes are completely out of this world, but if you have to choose from for for the fried chicken. You will also need to pair your main dish with at least one side. If I were you I would order both the mac & cheese and sweet mash with candied pecans. I have had many mac & cheese dishes in my life, but this one is top of my list. The crust of cheese on top of the dish is so perfectly crunchy you won’t be able to stop eating it. Last but not least, you have to try Amaris’ banana bread pudding. Whenever I see that banana is an ingredient in a dessert I immediately get excited, but I wasn’t prepared for the happiness I felt eating this bread pudding. There were both chunks of bread pudding along with pieces of banana, and the custard was perfectly creamy and smooth. WARNING: You will feel inclined to eat the entire thing, and will need someone to roll you out of Bianca.
