Smoothies have too much ice. Can barely taste the fruits.
Florentine was ok. Too much cheese and only cheese.
I found a hair in my potatoes and a piece of bacon in my florentine. (it wasn’t supposed to have bacon in it. A piece fell in accidentally I suppose)
But they were apologetic and offered to make another one for me. Which is why I gave them three stars.

Cannot talk about their juices or smoothies, but when it comes to sandwiches and wraps, this place is definitely a NO GO. My wrap was cold and not tasty at all. 3.25 $ for a fountain soda which tastes like water. Employees were not nice either. Not recommended placed.

Probably the worst place Ive ever been. The food was disgusting, the drink didnt have any Kind of taste and totally overpriced. The cashier was not nice at all. I will never come back.

every time I come to Café del MAR after 2am, the cashier is so rude, short and aggressive. it really upsets me as this café is located below my new apt. I would love to be able to comfortably order food with a welcoming individual and enjoy the outdoor seating while I wait for my food and not hear someone scream into the microphone my name repeatedly. great space, great food (overpriced) but bad customer service.

A great stop for a quick and affordable breakfast bite. Patio is pleasant and covered.

Used to come here all the time! Must say the food is very good and the staff used to be very nice, on point, polite, friendly. USED to be!!! To call for a pick up is a disaster. Every time I call they put me on hold for a while. Last time I called they put me on hold and in the end simply hanged up. I called again and they simply didn’t pick up. I understand places get busy but not to hang up on your customer. More over when I got there the place wasn’t that busy and when I told the cashier– Julia that I have called but I was put on hold for a while and then hanged up on she just gave me attitude and big time. When I told her about it she just said very rudely «Agh just sign». Not a good employee, the other girls used to be much better.

I live a few blocks away and I workout often in the area. I usually go here for lunch or dinner since it was reasonably priced and quick. As I got done with my workout tonight, I decided to stop by to get a smoothie. The guy at the register told me the credit card minimum was $ 7.00 which I understand. Suddenly, the buck tooth girl in the back decided instead of asking me if I wanted to buy anything else or upgrade my shake, she reached over and added a «surcharge» to my bill. I asked her what the surcharge was for, And she didn’t know how to explain it except that after 10p, they add a surcharge. Sounds sketchy to me!!! I didn’t mind paying the extra few dollars but if you can’t explain where my money is going and decide you want to upcharge me randomly then you will just LOSE ANOTHER LOYAL CUSTOMER!!! I hope this place educates their staff and treats their customers better. I wont be spending my money here again.

Juice and Java is usually my beach bfast spot but I’m a little farther South today so decided to try this place. I got the most perfect breakfast a Greek omelette whole-​wheat baguette side salad and potatoes for $ 11. Everything was cooked perfectly and great portions. I had a little trouble communicating with the staff what I wanted but we stuck it out with great results.

Just a nice spot to sit out front of… food isn’t tasty, service is blah. Overpriced menu, must be new management *shrugs*

They make great wraps but on my last visit I was over charged and when I questioned it, I did not get a straight answer. I ordered a chicken Thai wrap, extra chicken and a bottle of water. The costs on the menu: 8.95 + 1.89 + 2.50. Some how the total came to $ 17.58!!! I really don’t think that people treat their customers this way.

This place is disgusting and overpriced. And also filthy.
Food is inedible. I am not sure how one can go so wrong with cooking. I cook maybe once every 3 months and I am a pro compared to this place. There was some kind of juice in my «breakfast burrito» The smoothies are all from frozen fruit, nothing fresh. One smoothie tasted like mildew. Actually nothing at all is fresh. It seems very unsanitary. And Every time I’ve gone here it’s taken 30 or more minutes to get the food. Overall, a painful experience, from beginning to end, if you know what I mean. Now I know how everyone in Miami is so skinny.

So close but so far. You guys should really get it together. YOU are putting yourself out of business. Remember our orders — make them correctly and learn how to make a coffee. So sad

This is a cute place on the corner near the beach. Love the outdoor seating. The staff is young, inexperienced, and not very enthused to be at work. Don’t order an iced coffee. They fill a styrofoam cup with hot brewed coffee and scoop in a few ice cubes. You’re left with diluted, lukewarm coffee and no ice. They also don’t know how to give refunds. This place is obviously poorly managed by an adult that is absent and run by kids who couldn’t care less about service.

Well, I got to start with a disclaimer: I did not eat here.
Now I can explain why: We had a CMYE event right up front at the boxing gym, I got there early so decided to give this place a try. Walked in and everything looked fresh, the prices were sobe high but I wanted a juice so decided to give it a shot.
Grabed a bottle of water and there were two staff (one female, one male) behind the counter. The male was making a shake and told me they would be right with me. Ok, tick tock tick tock, the female is doing nothing but handing the male ingredients tick tock tick tock… 10 min later and they haven’t even asked for my order. I tell the female, forget it, let me just pay for the water and she turns around and tell this to the male who again tells me in a rude tone, you are going to have to wait.
I told him I didn’t have to wait to be treated poorly and put the water back in the cooler and as I was about to walk out, the male started to laugh and the other customer told me: «its sobe, they have to treat you like s*it». I told them I lived in miami and there was no reason for me to accept mediocre service with attitude and walked out.
Don’t care if these are the fountain of youth shakes, they won’t be getting a penny from me.

Love their wraps and fresh juices. It’s pricy but worth it compared to all the crap food around.

WOW WOW WOW. bought a bagel today for 6 $!! Had very minimum cream cheese HORRIBLE CHEAP PLACE ! My bagel is very dry. oh and barely any tomatoes .I needed something on the go so I decided to come here. As I see now not many ppl buy food from this place only drinks. I don’t understand how this business survives! Incredible.

Ate there tonight when was supposed to go to aroma, what a mistake.

Me and my wife ordered to pannini’s and they were not tasty and dry, we could finish it.

MEH… $ 35 for 2 breakfast sandwiches, a smoothie, and a latte… AND they still got my order wrong :(unfortunately I took my order to go and was very disappointed once I sat down to eat. Bread was dry, and they forgot to add avocado which I’m sure I was charged for. You can find better!

Loved this place! Went nearly everyday when I was in South Beach! The food here is great!

We stopped at this place late on a Sunday night on our way home from the bar. They had soo many things to pick from. We finally landed on a Philly cheese steak and it was SO good. It was on a french baguette which just took it to the next level. Perfect for a late night snack. A tiny little place that you wouldn’t think much of, but you should check it out.
