Worst haircut of my life. Showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted(a classic Ivy League cut) and he completely disregarded it, butchering my thick hair to make it look thin and sparse. I have an interview coming up and am getting married next week, and this stylist at Cami has shattered my self image. And then had the balls to change $ 75 for it. AVOID. Go elsewhere. Horrid stylists.

I got my highlights done by billy and I was honestly disappointed. He’s a beautiful person. If I’m paying $ 200 for highlights though… then I expect a really good job. I had to get him to do it over three times and in the end I was embarrassed and paid up for it. I mean, why would anyone think blond highlights on black hair looks nice?! I’ll never come back here again.

I tried this place out and loved the cut for exactly 10 days. Too many layers and the use of a razor on my fine hair may not have been such a good idea in the long run. I never liked the color. I kept hoping the color would get better but it never did. Just an overall mediocre experience. I have no intention on going back to this salon. 2 stars– Indeed, I have experienced better.

The only reason Cami Salon earns 4 stars instead of 5 is because Billy is a true artist. Meaning he isn’t always concerned about starting on time. With that being said — book the last appointment of the day. You’ll be in and out in no time. And any wait I’ve had has always been worth it. I always come out looking blonde in all the right places — yet somehow still natural. I also should add that Billy’s assistant is so sweet and does a great job to make me feel warm and welcome each time I come back. Also, last time I called the day of to make an appointment. Billy was booked but the receptionist took the time to fit me in at the end of Billy’s schedule. I was so appreciative that they made me feel like they valued my business.
