Enterprise Rent-A-Car

This business is a franchise so this review doesn’t necessarily apply to each of their locations and is very definitely meant for this particular branch.
My wife reserved a specific car online for a future pickup date (later that day). The online system guaranteed us a specific price. Well, when we showed up for the car not only was the computer system ‘conveniently’ unable to figure out how we were bid the price and instead tried to gouge us for a fee which was twice the amount we had reserved!
The salesgirl did her best to help us out, and eventually just did a system override on the computer to help us get the price we were ‘guaranteed’. You’d think that with an online system the company would run a bit smoother… but nope. Surprise, you get to stand in line forever waiting for the poor employee to figure out what the flip is going on!
Enterprise then tried to again gouge us, for their insurance policy which would have been more per day than the car rental itself! I was about ready to call my insurance agent and have him talk to the idiot to prove that our policy covers rentals! You’d think that they would realize that most people have insurance and don’t want their crappy insurance ‘deal’.
Sorry guys, you have no excuse. You’re just greedy and lazy.

Three different times we called today to different enterprises in the area to rent cars. Three times they took the reservation and assured us they had a car available. All three times the location eventually calls to say they don’t have one. The call centers are shady and assure you they have vehicles when they don’t. Don’t bother even trying. You’ll be disappointed when there is no car.

Seems like a pattern, Enterprise overcharges South Beach overcharges my credit card. I call and get put on hold. I call and are assured it will be looked into and returned a call the same day. Nothing happens. The following week I call and again I am assured it will be looked into an fixed. Strange thing is that eventually the male manager does fix the problems as some point. This is third times this series of events occurs. Manager needs a new job as his co-​workers here and at Grand seem consistently deficient in the art of renting and taking back returned cars. I need a new company to rent from… manager called and fixed everything after saw Unilocal review.

4.5 Proof that car rentals don’t have to be a painful, ‘why me, Lord?’, «KHAAANNNN!» type of experience. And, this place just happens to be located in South Beach.* What? Is such a thing possible? Yes. Yes, it is.
I came here needing a last-​minute car rental for a decent price. I was convinced that, at least, one of the two would be a no go. Imagine my surprise that I was able to get both a last-​minute car rental for a decent price AND receive pleasant conversation and helpful service? Where was I? What was happening? Joe was super helpful and the entire process was quick, easy and painless. I have experienced many a car rental in my day and this was, hands down, one of my best experiences. I enjoyed it so much that this location of Enterprise has become my go-​to when I need a vehicle and the only place I direct friends/​strangers to. Don’t mess around. You need a car? Come here.

Second the comments on service. They were very attentive. When our car want ready, they offered an upgrade. With kids still in their car seats, they shuttled us back to our place when we were done. Will rent again from them!

From the moment we waked into the door, the staff was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to provide me with quality customer service. The only downside was that this small branch has a limited amount of vehicles. Thus, we ended up waiting almost 20 – 30 minutes to pick up our car. However, the staff gave us an upgrade to a convertible and a discount due to the inconvenience. Even after I’d returned the car, a manager approached me to ask about the customer service AND I received a call from the branch manager to follow-​up on their service. Quite frankly, I have never received such attentive customer service from a car rental place. even the busy airport Enterprise branch provided me with top notch, attentive service when I used it!
Keep up the good work Enterprise!

The manager Jason really worked with me in a difficult situation and I can’t thank them enough. They picked me up and even dropped me back off when I returned the rental. My car was clean, service was good, couldn’t have asked for better. Thank you.

The male manager of this location deserves 5 stars, but there is a female who works there who made me deduct points. She is very hasty when responding to your questions and the information she provides is not consistent with other information that I receive.
I picked up my car from Miami International Airport (MIA) and was told that I can drop it off at any Enterprise location without an additional charge. When I dropped the car off, the female informed me that it would be a $ 50 charge for dropping it off at a different location. She insisted that this was the case, but we informed her that we had already confirmed there would NOT be a charge and the manager came out to tell us everything was okay.
The male staff members were much nicer and even offered to drop us off at our hotel so we did not have to walk.

The girls up front are extremely helpful. The driver Jerico is the best damn guy on the face of the earth a d is a hot ticket ladies so grab him while you can

Ass kissers? Sure they are, but what the heck, their VIP treatment brings me back time after time when renting cars. This chain is extremely consistent and has some of the best customer service in the travel industry. Their management in training program nabs recent college grads who are hard working, professional and looking to make the next move in their career. This equates to we customers getting almost anything we darn near want! I mean seriously, I feel like I’m the center of their world.
The following are perks that really make Enterprise worth my dollar:
–Price matching of ANY competition in the area
–No drop fee for airport to neighborhood locations– cheaper than a taxi or shuttle!
-$ 9.99/day weekend rentals at some locations. Say Whaaaa???
–Free pick ups and drop offs
–The occasional free upgrade and choice of your car in the lot
–Super friendly staff nationwide
–Managers that remember your name. Seriously.
–Amazing customer service. Really amazing.
This location on 5^th and Michigan is in a phat corporate building with marble floors. Staff rotate frequently, but all seem to be keepers. They stay open late and always seem to keep their cool despite having to deal with tourist morons aka Tourons, who don’t speak a lick of English. I also rent from the Bay road location who are equally great.
Enterprise has totally won me over after many years of personal and corporate renting with them. Muah muah muah.
