They were all really sweet and nice. Personally I wouldn’t go there again just because I’ve had my nails done better at other places. They clip cuticles a little too deep for me and it hurt. I asked for her not to do that so much and she did better after that. I understand some people like it like that but not me.
The nail polish was applied and it went onto the skin around my nails which she cleaned up but still. The nail polish had bubbles in it once dry and just overall I didn’t like it. I could have done this myself.
The strokes of the way they apply polish is different from the place I’ve been to back home in Maryland. That’s possibly why it wasn’t as clean of a finished result. I should have travelled with a bottle of polish.

This was the first time I researched for a place to get a haircut on Unilocal and I’m very happy I did.
When I move I just try a new affordable place that is close to me. If I like it I’ll be a client for years, otherwise try a new place…
Moved to Miami beach and After not being happy where I got the last couple of haircuts did some research on Unilocal — the place I was going had mediocre reviews and this one has much better reviews.
Got a haircut from Alberto who did a very good job and the price was within my range.
I felt compelled to write reviews for this and the place where I took the previous hair cuts, being as objective as possible.

We moved to town 6 months ago and have been searching for all sorts of professional services in our new city. Just had my third hair cut at Golden Hands. Owner Alberto did a very good job; I am pleased.

Great service! I always get a lot of compliments on my hair. The owner Alberto has been doing my hair for over 10 years! He’s done my Mom’s, my sister’s and my friend’s hair and they all rave about him. He’s cut my hair short, put extensions, styled it with long bangs and most recently cut my bangs. I highly recommend!

Love love love my hair and the service I get when I come here! It is way out of my way for me as It is about 13 miles away from where I normally commute but it is worth it! I’m the type of person who always wants a different look but can’t decide what to go for… Fortunately, the stylist that has taken care of me (who is also the owner, his name is Alberto) gave me a few options that go with my hair and complexion type. I had the Botox treatment done to my hair which is supposed to be a notch below the keratin treatment… I know it sounds weird. Botox for hair? Let me tell you: my hair length is mid back and this took about 30 minutes, it did not smell strong at all, I didn’t have to buy special shampoo or conditioners… It was pretty simple and my hair has been so much smother since then. Of course it is not as smooth as it would be if I had gotten the full on keratin treatment BUT I was more concerned about not damaging my hair and this was spot on for what I was looking for. The location is right on the beach but you do have to look for parking around the corner on 72^nd st parking lot unless you get lucky with a metered parking spot right by the door ;-)

quick and cheap mani/​pedi … Nothing to write home about but good.
