Hilton Garden Inn Miami South Beach-Royal Polo

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel went beyond the call of duty to make me comfortable.
From the front desk personnel to housekeeping, all were major players assuring my stay was as comfortable as possible.
I can’t thank them enough!
I really appreciated having a uniformed person open the front hotel door each time I arrived welcoming me back with a smile.

Two steps from the beach and a really great experience overall. The hotel must have been remodeled recently, the lobby was modern and the rooms looked right out of an HGTV special. The girls at the desk were helpful and kind, letting us stow our luggage behind the desk before our rooms were ready.
The hotel is located well, a 5 – 10 minute ride from Lincoln Ave and had a couple places nearby to grab a snack & drink. Since it’s well located, it’s not overly spacious like a lobby you’d see in other hotels. There are a few couches and chairs and a high top table, all were comfortable and functional for working.
The restaurant has happy hour and specials through the night, we watched a group dine in the in-​hotel restaurant and eat in the lobby — the food looked delicious.
Overall, the entire experience was overwhelmingly positive. One morning, the manager heard me talking on the phone about hunting for iced coffee and he made me one in the kitchen, free of charge. The entire staff went beyond what was required to make sure we were all comfortable.

Quiet dining on the terrace. The staff is friendly and helpful. We started with Prosciutto and Fresh Mozzarella with fresh bread and olive oil was great. Main course was a simple grilled salmon and fresh vegetables. If was very good food and service was excellent.

Hotel opened in December 2015. Very new, very well-​kept. However it is a basic business hotel, with only limited amenities available. Lobby area is small but well design for working professionals to do some work on the laptops. No swimming pool, no gym, and only valet parking for $ 35 per night. Valle service is subpar as they take a long time to park and retrieve your car. Recommended for business travelers that take mostly Über around town, otherwise not recommended for family vacationers.
There’s a Keurig machine in my room but no bottled water compliments of the hotel.
