Quiksilver

it was lunch time and i was just a few steps away from yardbird when suddenly my right chancleta got loose and i had one foot on hot pavement. i tried to play it cool, you know? like if nothing had happened but soon i realize these chanks had paid their dues. i went back to my office and temporally fixed it by using a paper clip, in case you havent noticed, im sorta like a third world version of mcgiver. true story.
thats it. its fixed i said to myself but i then started to contemplate the various scenarios that might arise if i keep wearing a patched pair of flip flops. how primitive would i look to the rest? so i decided that it was time to get a new pair of chanks, luckily, quicksilver is a few steps away from my office. the moment i went in, the moment this pretty and smiley sales rep greeted me and complimented my t shirt. i showed her my patched chanks. she laughed at me which was adorable. so she helped me find a new pair on my size that i would like. and then i found that pair and went over to the cash register.
the guy behind the counter also complimented my t shirt, i just had to throw that in there (i wear cool shirts, what can i say?) he was nice and talkative. i paid about $ 18 for my new flip flops which i have not stopped wearing since that lovely afternoon.

Management and staff very nice and helpful. Amazing customer service. Helped me return an item I bought at quicksilver in times square NYC. I was extremely pleased with their attentiveness and courteousness. The store manager was great. I wish all my retail experiences could be this good!

These place was my saving grace while in Miami. I totally forgot to bring a jacket that would be good for the beach. I stopped in here and found a great deal on a really cute hoodie, and my husband found a great pair of affordable flip-​flops as well.
I love the surfer style, so this is always one of my favorite stores, and this one is just cool. Very friendly service, and a great selection of stuff. And just around the corner from all of the Ocean Drive hotels.

Being a guy, buying a bathing suit should be easy. I tried to buy three diffrent ones over amazon only to have not a single one of them fit. How have the inches of waist sized changed to the point where no two companies have the same measurement.
After sending all of these suits back I walked over to the Quicksilver store and started to look around. The store was mostly empty, with two sales guys up front. They we willing to help me, and as I was picking out a suit we ended up talking about surfing, skate boarding, skiing, all types of fun sports. They were exceptionally nice, and very helpful.
I had never thought much about buying a bathing suit in the past, but I know I will return here when I need another one in the future. And yes, I really like the one I bought, and it fits.

yawn… why am I even reviewing this? Because I feel Unilocal guilt? Because I’m behind in reviews? Because I have a stack of receipts that from my travels and I will not throw them away till I review the establishment on Unilocal?
Seriously, the more you go, the more you know… and sadly, most of our world is becoming one big franchise.
Noteworthy of a QBRC shop is the amount of young cuties that work there.
So fresh and so clean.
