A wonderfully authentic Brazilian experience in South Beach. I enjoy visiting this place every time I’m in SoBe because it’s just SO Brazilian. The suco, pão de queijo, arroz e feijão and even the Xuxa on TV make me feel right at home. Valeu!

We stumbled upon this awesome little find while sightseeing through the many many many blocks that make up Miami Beach! Rosemary Café features freshly made Brazilian cuisine, all within a laid back setting. The owner gave us some background info on his newly opened restaurant, and explained some of Brasil’s staple dishes(coxinha, kibe, arroz e feijão, etc) that were featured on the menu. If you’re not sure what to order, ask for a small tasting of the item. Overall the food was not bad. The Chicken Empandas & Kibe were okay — somewhat bland and a bit too greasy. But the def highlights of our meal were the Cucumber Salad(mixed with Mangos, Cilantro, Onions, and Peppers) & the Pumpkin Squash Salad — fresh & tasty! ___________________________________________________________ See more: ___________________________________________________________

So we found this place accidentally yesterday while running from a freak rainstorm. I haven’t had real non-rodizio Brasilian food in Miami-Dade ever, every time I wanted to try one out in Doral or in Brickell they would close before I got the opportunity, and I was too lazy to go to 79th street or down to South Dade where the rest are. The place is a hole-in-the wall, in terms of its size, but not in terms of cleanliness. It was spotless, and the guy behind the counter seemed to be the owner. I had tutu beans(haven’t had these since NY) and a salad, while my partner had the feijoiada(a mix of pork, black beans, collards and oranges — believe me, you’ll like it). He’s Venezuelan but lived in Brasil for 6 years and declared it some of the best he’s had, the feijoiada is not offered every day, just some Saturdays, so if you see it get it! Everything looked and tasted homemade, I peeked into the kitchen and couldn’t see a single microwave. I’d give this place more stars if it was a little bigger(you get the sense you want to take your food to go, even though it is nicely decorated) and if they had that feijoada on there every day!

wow, a little gem hole-in-the-wall, among all the craziness of miami beach. very friendly, great food, affordable, comfortable. they even have wifi. i had chicken with okra, beans and rice, two kinds of salad, all Brazilian style of course. owner behind the counter, a refreshing friendliness, and ‘realness’… he said his mother cooks all the food! juices, ice cream, desserts. i feel lucky i stumbled in here, hot and tired, and left feeling great ;-)
