Great place. Small and intimate. Great service. Gave you time between courses. Food was unbelievable. Homemade pasta!!! Great wine list. No body on the street that grabs you to come look at the menu. Begging you to eat there. Great experience.

I had the fettuccini with clans and even though there was sliced garlic on it, it wasn’t overwhelming but was light with a nice amount of clans. Oh and start with the buratini cheese, it opened up the appetite very nicely!

We just visited Spiga for the first time, and it was a pleasant surprise, especially if you think it’s right around the corner from the awful Ocean drive food.
The restaurant is small and elegant, the staff efficient and pleasant. I had a glass of rose’ and it was good, I wouldn’t know about the wine list as far from an expert. The menu is pretty decent, with more meat than fish and refreshing appetizers. We shared a smoked salmon appetizer with asparagus, my husband had Linguini with Clam Sauce, and I ordered the Pollo alla Contadina salad. My salad was outstanding; I could have easily eaten two more as it was the size of a side dish. The linguini were well prepared but a the amount of clams in the dish was unsatisfactory and so was the size of the otherwise excellent salmon appetizer. I wouldn’t call the food at Spiga highly imaginative, but it felt healthy and made with good ingredients. I cannot judge a restaurant from one visit, but from what I ate and what I saw, Spiga looks promising. I just wish the portion were a little more consistent.

Better food and more reasonably priced than the cafes on ocean drive. A menu with variety of food offerings. I did not enjoy the gnochi. Garlic pesto pasta was amazing. Attentive service.

Great find in the heart of sobe craziness! Quiet. Great fresh pasta and seafood. Very professional service. We enjoyed fresh brucetta, grilled octopus, risotto and pasts seafood. GO!

Great atmosphere and very romantic. Had a table for 2 in the courtyard. Yes it is by the entrance to a hotel but one 2 people came and went.
Had salads, which were fresh. I was worried about the freshness since we went on Xmas night. Gnocchi and pasta was delicious.
Not to badly price. Would go again. Service is top notch.

I’m going to give this place a 5^th star for being“subtle” In South Beach. I read a review on here from some trashy bitch from Queens proclaiming to offer more sophisticated alternatives for Italian in SOBE. This is a very small, intimate space with more than ample space between the tables. 6-​stool bar. Intimate. Subtle lighting and very appropriate up-​tempo house music make for a great meal — if your not a «Scene-​Queen». If you want «see-​and-​be scene» — this is not your venue. If you want a hidden luxurious gem within — but outside –that paradox: this is a good spot.

This place has some of the best Italian food I have eaten! I chose the handmade gnocchi and it did not disappoint. Super light and airy with a pomodora sauce. They do know how to make it here.
My dining partner chose the fettuccine with zucchini in a cream sauce that was also light. And how often can you call Italian food light?
If you are in Miami and are tired of the loud, overpriced mediocre food, you MUST come and try this place.

As Europeans, knowing what real Italian food tastes like, we’re often disappointed with Italian restaurants in the US. But not this one. Our server was actually an Italian, very attentive, friendly and discreet. I can highly recommend the gnocchi with tomato and basil. The fresh tomato sauce is amazing. At other Italian places around here, it’s always too full of cheese, no matter what I order. But this place was truly authentic. A perfect date spot, too!

Cozy little place not too far from all of the Ocean Dr action. Atmosphere was nice, service was good, and the food was good as well. There were 3 of us and everyone enjoyed their meals. Give it a shot!

Best italian restaurant ever ! The chef Roberto Legrand is the best. Very friendly and his team WoW!!! Our family had such a great time.

What a gem of a place this is! Great find for a quiet, casually elegant Italian meal in South Beach.
It’s classy and quiet, not like the ghetto places with street hawkers and neon lights and huge punch bowls on the main strip. And there’s nothing wrong with those places, if you’re in college or on a bachelor/​bachelorette party. FIN.
We had the lobster ravioli special with scallops, and it was delicious. The sauce was incredible. Service was great. Nothing to complain about!
Make a reservation, you’ll need it. If you’re craving Italian after eating nothing but (awesome) Cuban food, this is a great little spot.

Absolutely fantastic food and service.
Normally we don’t eat at the same restaurant two times on our vacations, but this were simple too good!
We had pasta, meat and desserts and everything were at a very high level! Both presentation and the tast.
Even though it is located at Collins it is a very romantic and the service was very pro.
Yes! You have to wait a little bit, but that’s how it is when everything is made from the bottom.

Italienische Restaurants in Amerika haben die Tendenz italienisches Essen zu amerikanisieren und jede normale Pasta Kreation als Weltmeister Dish zu präsentieren — als Europäer eher normale italienische Kost, aber schönes Setting in B Lage in South Beach daher ruhiger als im Party Trubel des Ocean Drive — also: gut aber nicht wirklich Hocker reißend :)
For an european Italien Food Has to offer more varieties of Spices and nuances… As we know it from travel to italy and other cities Around Europa — so maybe a bit harsh evaluation of OK Food in a Nice Setting, but Indeed not great from the italian Point of view

We have the Caesar salad and bruschetta to start. Both were delicious and perfect to split. I has the gnocchi with a light pink cream sauce — perfect texture, temperature and flavor. My boyfriend had the lobster ravioli special and wipes his plate clean.
Some of the most lovely service we could ever remember.
Lovely sorbet to top off the meal. We will be back and recommend it to anyone visiting or living in Miami.

Over the top friendly and attentive staff that elevates a great meal to a memorable evening, excellent date spot, or pre-​night out stop to get a good meal in before a night of drinking.
Lounge type music on the patio. Nice mediteranian style décor and an extensive traditional italian menu.
Grilled veggies: excellent preparation with perfectly grilled zucchini slices right off the grill, eggplant was still firm and not mushy, tomato was perfectly ripe
Antipasta plate is a very large sampling and perfect to start the meal with
Raviolli with ricotta and spinach served with zucchini slices is a must order item.
Ricotta cheescake is lighter than most but still satisfying, another not to be missed menu item.

Ambiente legal tipicamente italiano, serviço atencioso. Nada de South Beach Style. A comida não tem nada de especial. No Rio tem restaurantes italianos bem melhores e em São Paulo nem se fala.

Très cher pour un risotto et des pâtes: $ 192 (service compris) pour 4 plats et une bouteille de vin…
Contrairement à la plupart des restaurants US, le service est compris automatiquement dans l’addition ! Ils précisent tout de même sur la note: «a 15% service has been added, please feel free to ask to lower or increase this rate…»
