The bloody mary was terrible and 16 dollars. Ordered the cubano which was good, the pancakes were ok, and the wagyu burger was very good.

So do you like food? Drinks? Beautiful atmospheres with incredible service … Yes? Not to mention hello the food is fantastic — Brussel sprouts — empanadas — Caesar salad — crab cake — tuna — actually what the hell everything was fantastic … Speaking of which Spencer is the server you need to have — best bachelorette ever xxx — be here or be weird

Poolside Brunch?! God bless you the Raleigh! I absolutely loved my brunch there on a warm, breezy day in November 2015. I enjoyed the Lobster Benedict so much! The perfectly cooked lobster paired with grilled asparagus and that creamy hollandaise — OMG! The view of sunbathers and swimmers was also quite nice as I enjoyed my brunch at the outside/poolside section of the restaurant.

I have stayed here many times. I ate dinner here tonight. The food was good the service was brutal. We sat and waited 10 – 12 minutes for our waiter. Some guy from either Australia or New Zealand. He was nice but so slow and inattentive it was a joke… We ordered and we had almost everything arrive Apps and dinner at once. To make matters worse they left the appetizer plates that we had finished with on the table while we are our main courses… Really unprofessional service. I ordered a beer when we sat down it showed up during my main course…: then they have the balls to tack on am 18% gratuity. The server couldn’t have given a dam and just dropped the check on the table and NEVER said thanks or anything… it wasn’t worth the $ 160 for crappy service… I hope management reads this forum… Really really annoying…

For the full story: The Restaurant at The Raleigh was a bit of a surprise for me. When I say surprise, I mean it in a really good way! I was expecting it to just be one of those really fun brunches in Miami Beach with mediocre food, but I am very happy to announce that it completely proved me wrong! The way to go you ask? I would definitely order the Buttermilk Pancakes first! They were really delicious, the perfect amount of fluff and sweet to make you say«hey, those are SO good!» I do wish I tried a few of the pastries or french toast because the empanadas from«El Cubano» were on point, so I am guessing all the breaded items are delightful as well. Now, I will admit I am a hard critic when it comes to empanadas because of my Venezuelan background, but these were crispy on the outside, soft in the inside, and the right size for a Benedict plate!(Even though they weren’t true Venezuelan empanadas, but that’s a whole different story to tell!) I did not, myself, eat the Greek Yogurt & House Made Granola– since you know I would never order that over my pancakes or my eggs– but it damn sure looked refreshing, especially in the heat of South Beach! Another great aspect of the The Restaurant at The Raleigh was its atmosphere, its view, and its décor. The atmosphere was fun and friendly, the view of the pool and sky really catches your eye and makes you feel like you’re in Miami, while the décor makes you feel like you are one with nature. I really enjoyed my time at The Restaurant at The Raleigh, and I am sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I did! Now(!) where’s my second plate of pancakes?! Tips: The orange juice is not worth paying for. Get a table outside by the pool! The pancakes were better than the Eggs Benedict, but still good!

Great value with all the high end options on Collins avenue. The strip steak and empanadas were divine. The romantic outdoor setting overlooking the pool added a special touch. So glad we followed reviews and checked it out for dinner.

Amazing atmosphere, beautiful hotel and beautiful dining area, the food is too gourmet for my personal taste, small portions and too complicated to eat, I will go back more for their amazing bar more than for their dinner menu! Service is amazing and that is what makes this place really special too.

I really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. We shared so I tasted numerous dishes. The lobster ceviche, Caesar salad with shrimp, grilled salmon with Brussels sprouts(loved the sprouts), much room pasta with truffle butter and shishito peppers. The only thing we weren’t happy with was thy despite he fact that we were told these dishes were designed for sharing, we didn’t find that they were. They also warned us that the food would come out as it was ready– which would make it difficult NOT to share, and to have your own dish. Atmosphere was great. Beautiful night and ate outside Palm trees lining the Pool.

As a self labeled celebrity chef groupie I like to check out at least one when I travel. On our 4th of July visit to Miami I settled on Michael Schwartz. The ambiance was truly stunning outside beneath the trees. I honestly did not know it was outside and July is a bit steamy for outside dining. I was also a tad concerned about mosquitos at dusk and when I mentioned this to the maitre’d he promptly delivered me a bottle of natural bug spray. No bites ruined my evening. My husband and I were eating a bit light and settled for a few snack-like items off the menu to share. We ordered the Pappardelle, Grilled Pizza and Potatoes Waxman. All were really lovely but the Grilled Pizza was a standout for us. Needless to say we cleaned every plate. I’d definitely return but I think I’d prefer this venue in temps below 70 degrees. The sweltering heat unfortunately just makes it a little uncomfortable. The service was stellar and everyone was very pleasant.

Worst service ever!!! I would avoid this place for breakfast. The breakfast is way over priced and I don’t believe I have ever had such poor service. The wait staff is very good at doing just that… making you wait! 14 $ for 2 eggs, bacon chips(supposed to be bacon) and 3 slices of potato. Insane!

If I could give 0 stars I would! First of all we chose this place as a romantic birthday dinner and we were seated at a table with the view of a wall. I’ve never paid so much money for such bland food. This is a place for people that don’t mind spending money on crappy food. If you enjoy good food do not go here! We go out to eat all the time, we go to different restaurants all the time and thought this is going to be an amazing experience but it was the worst we’ve ever had. We had the ceviche, a crab-cake, a New York strip steak(8oz for $ 40), and the short ribs. The short rib came out cold so we returned it. We had a Moscow Mule without a copper cup. This isn’t a Chilies, you need to have the appropriate cups, people pay all this money for the experience. The food was nothing spectacular. Our ceviche still had pieces of the lobster shell in it, the steak was seasoned with a bit of chimichuri and the potatoes it came with were hard. The crab-cake was the only thing we actually enjoyed. Over all our bill came out to $ 140 for a small crab-cake, a tiny order of ceviche, and an 8oz steak. Since we returned the short rib we were left hungry and decided to get a pizza across the street. That was a better choice than this supposed«romantic beautiful restaurant.» Do not go to this restaurant, huge disappointment!

We had brunch here on our 1st weekend after moving to Miami and it was… disappointing unfortunately. What made me book the reservation was the bloody mary bar! But where was the bloody mary bar? They gave us each a bloody mary with 1 small piece of celery in it. We were both terribly puzzled… and the bloody marys were terrible! We NEVER send stuff back, but we had to. It tasted like drinking a bottle of shrimp cocktail sauce. The food came out very late and cold… cold eggs are not great unless you’re eating Spanish tortilla. So that was disappointing. I’m not giving it a 1 start ONLY because we loved the setting. Our table was under a tree overlooking the edge of the beautiful Raleigh pool. So points there. But otherwise…

It’s more than a 3 but less than a 4. I came here during miami spice. The portions were perfect, not to small not to big. The pork shoulder was ridiculously tender and very good. The calamari was good but not great. Drinks were good too. The ambiance is what makes this place. Dine during the evening and it’s quite romantic. Service was great. Overall I had a very good experience here.

We came for lunch, pleasantly surprised they were participating in Miami Spice. We had a wonderful meal, and loved the cool breeze. A tropical oasis in the middle of south beach! Only complaint, our waiter was terrible, the hostess made up for the service, but he was terrible!

We stayed at this hotel four days and our company reserved the restaurant for breakfast as well as lunch everyday. The food was really good … breakfast we would have fresh pastries, muffins, bagels and fresh fruit which was all very good and fresh every morning. Lunch varied, however couple things did stand out … the Cuban sandwich on the baguette is delicious! Kale Cesar salad was amazing, thick cut potato chips and french fries are awesome(I don’t even like french friends and I enjoyed them!). The staff is very attentive and very friendly. The ambience of the place is so cool! If you sit outside poolside you have a great view of the pool but also there is these beautiful trees surrounding the restaurant.

The visual appeal of the restaurant was beautiful with outdoor lighting that lit up the trees above. Very romantic and perfect for dinner at dusk or later. Mixed reviews on the food and drinks. The drinks left a lot to be desired. They were bad. We had the thick chips and the chips were not fresh. They were cold and seemed as if the chips were pulled out of the fridge. Would like to see those cooked and served warm. The simple green salad was great! My wife had the crab cake and called them average. Nothing special nothing great. I had the pan roasted chicken and eh, nothing special. The over $ 125 bill seemed excessive for what we got but ok. We are usually more interested in quality over price and didn’t get that from our visit. Again, good not great. If you are looking for a romantic place to go, this is a good option.

First of all, the vibe of this hotel is like no other hotel in Miami. The Raleigh has really managed to maintain its charm, while so many other S. Beach gems have failed. We were seated outside under a beautiful sea grape tree overlooking the iconic Raleigh pool. We had the pâté, the barrel fish and the hangar steak all of which was well portioned(even for my husband) and delicious. But wait, I must talk about dessert! The sticky toffee pudding was unreal. I have a bit of a sweets problem and, even though I was stuffed, I had to order. It’s got toffee popcorn mounted on top with créme frîche ice cream. I’m obsessed. The service was exquisite, right from the beginning. The host, Wes, greeted us and joked around before taking us to our table(not common on the Beach). Our waiter was equally friendly, honest, and attentive. Really an overall wonderful experience.

The skirt steak was delicious, the butter providing the difference between good and great. The candy bar with pickled cherries was impressive. The complex flavors of the latter were frankly amazing. The setting was very pleasant. The pool is subtly lit with blue light and tropical trees loom over the tables. The service was a bit indifferent. The restaurant is also loud, with the couples’ tables crowded together and your fellow patron’s conversations intruding on your own.
