We had several pizzas. My kids loved watching the soccer on the TVs. The service was good. Overall it was fantastic!

DONOTEATHERE!!! Needs a cheap quick bite to eat with my siblings, came across this quaint restaurant. We were the only people in the restaurant at 2 in the afternoon. The waitress did not speak good English or understand it. We ordered our drinks and then my sister and I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. I tried asking her if anything else comes ON the burger and all she could say back was«fries». So I gave up and lone be hold a big slab of mayonnaise was on my burger and a big olé hair grilled into my burger. I sent it back and refused another one. The food was disgusting, and did not look like it should be consumed by anyone. We got our bill and she charged us $ 2.00 for tomato & lettuce! She didn’t even tell us that, we all only ate one bite out of our plates. She only came back to our table twice throughout our whole meal.

Came in from California, and tried this out last night. Delicious! Comida Uruguaya at its finest. With so many restraunts to choose from, this is definitely one to check out! Our server, I didn’t get her name but she was extremely friendly! Thanks!

Stopped in to have lunch and this place is really good! The coffee is straight from Italy and it was just what I needed to get my day started. The service was great as well!

American coffee is worth the walk. It is made per cup on a cappuccino making machine. Loved it!

I was there last weekend with my family and we loved the place. The people working there were very nice and polite. The food was amazingly good BUT if i could give them a little advice i would say they should let the pizza stay a little bit longer in the oven. Besides that everything was perfect. They even customized the pizza to our taste.

Service is terrible. Extremely slow even when the place is not even half full. Food is very basic and it was served cold and fries where cold and saggy.

Food was just ok and the service far from good. There were three tables when we arrived. We knew what we wanted to order but the waitress didn’t want to take our order without first getting our drinks. She dropped our drinks knowing we wanted to order and proceed to walk away. 5 minutes later we had to call a different waiter over to place our order. Why?

*Disclaimer: 3STARSFORFOODONLY! Food was awesome sauce! My beau and I had a late lunch early bird dinner type of Saturday date meal. We shared the Chivito for 2 w/rice and salad. Fresh ingredients and very tasty! The rest gets 1 star-very disappointing. Now I know the rent must be high in the old McDs corner lot but this is the beach and if you want people to come in — make it cozy — not like I’m dining in a cheap version of the IKEA catalog. #cheap. Appropriately and constantly TRAIN your servers and staff — they are 50% your success and lastly cut your menu in half and make the font bigger. Make it easy to read for the people passing by.

DONTGOHERE! If i could give no star i would. I ordered this dish: «chivito al plato» described on the menu as: «Grass fed tenderloin steak, Ham, mozzarella, bacon, and lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, bell peppers and olives.» Also ordered two empanadas one chicken one ham/cheese. What i got was exactly this: a huge pile of soggy fries, canned green olives, red peppers(antipasti type), a tiny piece of regurgitated red meat, a single piece of deli ham with cheese melted inside, all topped by a runny(even the whites) egg. And a small«salad» on the side consisting of lettuce tomato and onions(dish did not mention onions or fries at all). No bacon, no mayo– and a ridiculous amount of soggy fries. For $ 30? It was terrible. The empanadas were old/stale and cold. When i brought to the servers attention, she didn’t speak english but said«yes it comes with fries». The service was very pleasant but overbearing. I had three people wait on me, what looked like the owner or manager, and two waitresses. Probably the result of the restaurant being empty despite it being lunchtime. The only thing they got right were the two diet cokes(i had to dig to the back of the cooler for cold ones) and thats almost impossible to mess up! They seem like nice people, but the food is not even edible(threw it all away) and way over priced. Sadly this restaurant wont last.

Ehhh. Bugs flying around the whole time… service extremely slow. There were two tables and it took 45 min to get our food. The chicken with sauce was bland. We got our bread and butter after our meal, wile the other table go it as they sat down.

Very slow service. 45 minutes and still no food. Ordered some sandwiches. Good tasted good when it did come. They were not at all busy. Could be good with some better wait staff.

First off, the service was outstanding! The restaurant was very clean and fresh. The food was great. Between the three of us we shared the ham and mozzarella pizza(which I was skeptical about because I’m from up north and pizza usually isn’t good outside of the tri state area, but it was actually pretty great!) and the specialty ham, cheese, olive and roasted red pepper sandwich which was so delicious. It kinda reminded me of a grilled cheese but a different style. We ended our fabulous meal with a chocolate cake that was so rich and delicious. Overall it was a great last meal for our Miami trip!

If you like chivito, you will like Trouville. (and if you don’t, you won’t) Trouville is brand new, so let’s be gracious and give them some time to find their groove. Their specialty is chivito, a large multi-layer Dagwood-style sandwich platter usually topped with a fried egg. If you like that, this is your place. If not, there are better places in North Beach for your dining dollar. Even though the staff will point out that chivito is their specialty, they advertise themselves as a pizza and pasta place. I tried the pizza and was disappointed. Toppings selection is very limited and if you were thinking of the effortless-to-eat thin-crust style pizza with gourmet toppings, this is NOT your place. My advice to Trouville is to go to Piola or Spris, look at the toppings list, try a few pizzas, and use that as a guide. I ordered a veggie pizza, where«veggies» meant only peppers and olives. That’s it. I wanted to add sausage, but that was not an option, even when I asked for it.(I can get egg or french fries as a pizza topping, but not sausage??? Um, ok…) So I ordered the chorizo appitizer and sliced it up myself to add to the pizza. My order took over half-hour to arrive, even though there were only three other tables besides myself there. The Uruguayan style chorizo was excellent though… Service was really friendly. Desserts looked good and are on display like a bakery.

My fiancée and I ate our dinner here on this restaurant’s opening night. We didn’t know this place was even open yet, until we walked by. It was under construction for some months, and replaced a McDonald’s. So, we decided to look inside to check it out. The waiters gave us a bit of history before we ordered. Apparently Trouville has several locations in Uruguay, and this is their first one outside of Uruguay… in Miami Beach not surprisingly. So the menu has a selection of traditional Uruguayan dishes, including the Chivito. I had the grilled Mahi with olive oil, garlic, and parsley. The side was grilled vegetables of eggplant, zucchini, and squash. Very tasty! My lady had the grilled salmon. Excellent flavor! The service was super attentive. They also showed us the dessert case and they told us that all of the desserts are made it there on site fresh everyday.
