Smoothie King

Every time I see this place I get re-​pissed off. Here’s why, on April 11, 2015, I purchased a smoothie for my wife and for myself. My smoothie had a texture such as coconut shavings. When I decided to bite down on the coconut shavings I almost broke my tooth, it was
NOT coconut shavings, it was pieces of hard, white plastic! When I spit it out, sure enough it was pieces of plastic! When I told the cashier they all looked shocked, denied that it was possible, and ultimately looked at me all crazy and implied that I put it there. That pissed me off!!! 10 minutes later after they replaced my shake. I asked them that I had to know what the hell was plastic doing in my shake. They confessed that one of the white adhesive clips was missing from their wall, apparently as they made my shake, it fell inside the blender. They Never apologized, nor offered a free smoothie or anything to make up for the fact that I swallowed pieces of plastic that day. This could of perforated my intestines and I could be dead by now. That was an awful thing to do, especially After implying that I made the whole story up. (Worst experience ever)
Oh by the way, Today when I asked you to please turn the music down since it was so loud that my ears were about to start ringing… 3 songs later you turned it up again. Yeah I noticed you turned it up again, I’m not stupid. Thanks for that, we left early because we were sitting at the the only table available that was directly under the speakers. I’m happy you love your job so much that you disregard customer service, while you sing horrible behind the counter while you jam to music that is nearly deafening for us since the speaker is far away from you, you don’t notice how loud it is.

I love this Smoothie King. The employees are always on there game because they work one of the busiest malls in all of South Florida. They always have me in and out even on their crazy days such as Friday — Sunday. They always make my smoothies taste great with a nice texture and are always wiling to help and suggest new things. They get 4 stars only because lines are sometimes out the window. Get Fit drink a Smoothie.

This place is run by a bunch of teenagers and they all seem like they have no clue what to do. They young man was attending me and some random man butted right in front of me mid conversation and the young man stopped helping me to then make 3 smoothies for the next guy. REALLY? Me thinks not.

There are two kinds of people in this world: people that like smoothies and people that don’t, I’m in the first group but this place made me reconsider my position.

Value: none.
Will I go again?
I like to think that they are just warming up and this place will be awesome soon, but for now strike 1.
