Amazing food at a great price. One serving feeds two. Definitely check this chef Creole out. You won’t be disappointed.

I love their fried shrimp but they frequently don’t have menu items. And their employees swear they are doing you a favor. I refuse to deal with them.

Smh! As a Haitian American This food I must say is SubPar. I’ve been a Chef Creole fan from the early 2000’s. My favorite location was the one in north Miami … I’ve been eating clean and working out but today I wanted my cheat meal to be GOOD! How about some Haitian comfort food. Walk in the establishment and it dusty and very thrown together. Get to the register to order and the employee is crazy abrasive and light weight rude. I ordered the steamed shrimp combo with rice and beans and sweet plantains. I love sweet plantains. So I ordered an extra side for $ 2.(Why did I do that) when I got my food and left I opened it with anticipation… First thing I noticed was this is NOT the chef creole I remember from 20032004. The shrimps were so small. First thing I bit into was a PLANTAIN. Only to be hit in the throat with nasty greasy taste. Here is the kicker. The plantains taste like fish. So the Zoe lady in the kitchen is really frying the plantains in the same grease she fried the fish and the shrimp and probably the conch. So it tasted nothing like a plantain. I noticed the prices have dropped to $ 15 and under and the quality of the food has SERIOUSLYDECLINED. I rather pay a little more and enjoy my food then pay less and wish I never gave a damn dollar. NEVERAGAIN. I’m only giving them 3stars because they are my people and I want Haitians to do better BUT in all honestly this really deserved 2stars

The customer service was great. The food was wonderful and hit the spot for me. Bi was expecting a single filet of fish in my order. But my plate was over flowing. They are well with the price.

This review is based on two lemon pepper chicken wings and one conch fritter that my co-worked shared with me! Hot, fresh, delicious! Seasoned to perfection. I will be visiting soon for a full meal!

Every time I order here my food is delicious and fresh. I love it; but I’ve experienced bad customer service at the 54th location

This was my very first meal & visit to MIA. The food is excellent! Also the staff is very friendly! I had the stew chicken. It was very good! This was my first time there so they gave me a shrimp sample with a special sauce made by the chef. It was delicious! If you are in north Miami you should definitely swing by Chef Creole. Good food & good background music. Nice old school R&B. Great combination!

Made a stop here with my bro and dad to get a bite to eat. I enjoyed the food here. No fried plantain the day I came or pikles, but what they did have was pretty good. So call ahead to make sure they have what you are looking for before you come. I would come back here.

I thought this location was CLOSED for the longest so that is why it is receiving only 3-stars from me compared to the other locations. It appeared that they were under«construction» for a year. Glad to hear that it is still open. I also saw that there were inspection issues so that may have been why it was closed for so long. Any who, from what I’m reading from the other commenters, they now have a buffet here, they did not have it when I last visited over year ago. As stated in all of my other Chef Creole reviews: I think Chef Creole is wonderful. It satisfies my Haitian-American pallet. I’m a fan of the shrimp, conch, pikles(spicy cole slaw), banan(fried plantains), & conch fritters. I never tried the lobster or fish but I plan to one day. What I *can* say is that the food is CONSISTENT throughout all the different Chef Creole locations. *Disclaimer: I am not paid to do any of my reviews. I’m just a consumer who was sick & tired of not seeing any reviews(good or bad) on many of the South Florida establishments that I frequent or have visited in the past.

I finally made it here, as I read before that this location was closed, As I tried to place my order the server told me to hold on and took a phone order 1st. Buffet was available, however I didn’t have enough time to sit down and eat, but the food did smell good. I wish there were more options for take out as there were for buffet. Either way I placed my order and took a seat while it was being prepared. My order came up rather quick for this I was pleased. The food was fresh and delicious! I ordered the stewed chicken with rice and I loved every bit of it. The prices were reasonable and I can’t wait to return.

This location is NOT closed! I ate there two days ago. Chef Creole #4 in Miami Gardens opened recently, and is a bit different from the one on NW54th Street and the one on West Dixie Highway in that it offers a buffet option in addition to the cooked-to-order food that the others have. It also has about a dozen small tables to dine indoors. It is reasonably clean and has adequate parking. I did move from one wildly rickety table so I wouldn’t end up wearing my soda. I only had conch fritters($ 4) and a small-size conch salad($ 4.50) on my visit. The fritters were quite good, and tasted«homemade,» not like the industrial, dense ones that are served at so many places that buy vats of pre-made batter from Neptune Seafood or some other distributor. They were served with little containers of pikliz and Chef Creole tartar sauce. Pikliz is a VERY hot relish/salsa made with scotch bonnet peppers, cabbage, carrots, onions and vinegar(and sometimes other additions). It really is tasty if you can stand the heat! The tartar sauce is tan, and a worker told me that the recipe is secret, but he did say that it has some mustard in it. It went well with the fritters, and wasn’t so spicy that the picante-phobic would object. The conch salad is diced conch, onions, peppers, tomatos in a vinegar marinade(and with some citrus, I believe). It was fresh and good, with a lot of conch, which amazingly was not chewey, even though it was not ground or put through a mechanical tenderizer. It also was very hot from chile peppers! It reminds me of the variation on conch salad available at some places in the Bahamas that is known as «scorch.» Although I did not purchase the buffet option, I did ask some questions about some of the items, and took some photos. There were«Buffalo» wings, BBQ-sauced wings, a Haitian take on mac & cheese, fried rice, red beans and rice, creole-seasoned fried chicken, creole braised ribs, collard greens, and a fish soup. Also two bins of some sort of stewed meat and chicken. Ordering was slightly chaotic, with customers milling about instead of qeueing up. I did get my food in a reasonable amount of time, not like at the 54th Street location where one is also competing with the drive-through customers. The manager came over and asked me how my food was, and answered some questions. I plan to go again, and try the buffet so I can sample small quantities of the unfamiliar foods.

Soooo delicious! They are really really nice and everything is just so good. I actually found them while watching Anthony Bourdain on travel channel. I’m not much for spicy food(which they have in abundance) but I really loved their whole fish. Their place is outdoors so in the hot miami sun the flies were annoying but nonetheless I highly recommend eating here.

Food here was delicious and made on the spot. The portions are large and the prices vary from $ 7 to $ 15 but they have a nice selection of seafood. I don’t like the fact that you come out smelling like fried oil. The place is very small and they do take a while to get your food ready so your best bet is to order in advance.
