Tonight’s evening was superb. Dalia took amazing care of us this evening guiding us through the menu like a tour guide in a European country. Her suggestions were true accoutrements to our dining experience. We look forward to the outstanding service in the near future. Make sure to try their bone in aged filet paired with her suggested Franciscan cab! Not only did she guide us but her assistants Wilburn and Roman truly were the gravy to our colloquial mashed potatoes

Absolutely perfect! I don’t know whether to address the food or the service first — both were exemplary. Dalia and Roman were absolutely perfect hosts — informative, friendly, professional, and were there to explain everything about the menu. Their suggestions were spot on — we all commented that it was interesting that Dalia seemed to anticipate our needs before we did! Just the right amount of interest without intrusiveness — a real talent! There were four of us, and each person absolutely raved about their steaks — I had a filet and my brother and his wife had the cowboy rib eye. My husband had the mahi and said it was perfect. We got 3 desserts — chocolate soufflé, apple something, and the molten chocolate dessert(too much — Dalia told us it would be, but we didn’t listen), and each one was mouthwateringly perfect! From start to finish, it was a perfect dining experience. We will be back. Soon!

Our Thanksgiving dinner experience was wonderful. Roman, Dalia and Hector displayed an outstanding customer service. The food was delicious indeed. This time we ordered the chocolate soufflé and we were very pleased. Nice place we’ll be back for another celebration dinner.

Brought my wife and her twin here this evening for a birthday dinner. Our server, Alicia was outstanding and so was the service, as usual. The dinner was excellent. The cowboy steak, bone in filet mignon and the Kansas steak were absolutely scrumptious. The wine Alicia recommended, the Cigalus, is a must try with any of these steaks. We love Shula’s for its romantic elegant setting, but the service and delicious foods keep us coming back time after time.

Celebrating another Birthday at my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Shula’s always feels like home. From the minute we walk in and are greeted by Patricia to the amazing service provided by our friends, Roman and Alicia, to the always perfect steaks. Shulas never disappoints!

Good steak great service. Nothing to loose your self. The price is a little high but is a good quality meat. I won’t go crazy for it, there are better steakhouses in miami.

Came here for a business dinner. Loved their mac n cheese. The mushrooms were delicious. Steak? A tad over rated. The ambience is nice. I recommend it for dates and meetings.

Service was impeccable. I have never seen better. Bottom line, this restaurant had available tables the entire Friday evening while I was there. That should tell you something. For $ 100 per pound steak, I would say Shula’s was average. I had the trio. Three 2 ounce chunks of filet mignon, perfectly prepared to my order. One was presented as peppercorn, one as Oscar(seafood), and one with cheese. The peppercorn was absolutely overpowering. Large peppercorns on a tiny piece of meat were too much spice(and I like spicy) masking any flavor of the beef. The Oscar topping was mediocre and the cheese topping was as well. Sides are pretty basic and unflattering given the expense of the overall meat. 5 kinds of potatoes, 2 kinds of asparagus and spinach. Each sized large enough for 4 people. What do you do when you want some variety for 2? Restaurant décor was functional, but not elegant for this price point. Overall this was a mediocre to average experience for the money. I vastly prefer Ruth’s Chris over Shula’s.

We are Shula’s fans and even had our wedding reception at Shula’s on the Beach in Fort Lauderdale. We can’t say enough about how great everything is — even the butter is better than average. HOWEVER… This review is for Shula’s Steakhouse in Miami Lakes. It is the original. The ambiance is «Old Florida» and though clean and quiet it’s nothing special. I believe that the restaurant serves as the attached golf course’s clubhouse dining(sandwiches) during the day. The tables wobble and the chairs are very uncomfortable. The bar is unremarkable and a little dysfunctional. Restrooms are clean but obsolescent and worn. This said, the food was great. My wife had the 6 oz fillet and I had the lamb. We cook meat at home better than anywhere, but Shula’s has the advantage of better quality than we get at Publix, so it was a treat. My wife loves the Wedge salad, and the I never send back Shula’s Lobster bisque although more than half the time I do at other restaurants. With any steakhouse, send your steak back if it’s not to your liking. We spoke to somebody in the parking lot who«let is slide» and this is ridiculous — the cost of returns is built into the price everybody is paying, and when you pay $ 40 for a small fillet it better be great. At Shula’s it usually is, but if not they’re more than happy to take care of it FAST. We’ll never go back to this(Miami Lakes) Shula’s. We’ll make the trek east to Shula’s on the Beach in Fort Lauderdale because in this case the environment is more comfortable and this may make the food taste better,. It makes for a much better value, anyway.

My steak was perfectly cooked and yummy! Grilled asparagus was very good, too! I subtracted 2 stars as the crab Mac and Cheese was dry and the service for a 75 dollar per person meal was mediocre and sporadic.

Service was excellent. Steak very tasty and prepared and cooked very well — but over seasoned and far too salty. Salad was mediocre. Atmosphere is nice but not relaxed. They give you a football to hold — with cuts of steak painted on it. A little gimmicky IMHO. And veryyyyyyy expensive. I wouldn’t do that again.

We love Miami Dolphins but You don’t have to be a Dolphins fan to love this restaurant. The whole experience was absolutely perfect. The best steak house ever! Sadly I live in California and we don’t have a Shula’s yet… The service was excellent. The ambiance classic the wine selection was superb and did I mention the food was amazing!!! I can’t give 10 stars but Shula’s definitely deserves a standing ovation.

Excellent. The filet mignon was heavenly tender and melted in my mouth. The lamb porterhouse was to die for. The service was spectacular. Overall great local steak house for us. Oh and the blackened scallops, yummy.

I came here with some friends for Miami Spice. I ordered the lobster bisque, 6 oz. filet, and cheesecake. The food overall was okay. It wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t terrible either. My only complaints are that the lobster bisque came out lukewarm and that the filet was just a tad dry. It took a really long time for us to get our main course dish, despite there not being a lot of people dining. Other than that, the service was great. If the food on the regular menu tastes like the Miami Spice menu, I think that it’s definitely overpriced. Overall, not a bad place. But I’d have better steak for less.

Great, consistent steak. There are very few places in Miami that I can honestly say have had excellent steak for 15+ years. Shula’s is one of my family’s favorite celebration spot. To start, their BBQ shrip is unqie. You get shrip, stuffed with basil, wrapped in bacon and barbecued perfectly. If you want, the waiter will make a presentation of all the meats, carfully explaining what each cut is like. I highly recommend the filet or the bone in cowboy. For dessert, the baked apples and the chocolate lava cake can’t be missed. You’ll definitely leave happy.
