I had a great experience this week at The Spa at Shula’s. I was greeted and checked-in promptly and then shown to my locker and waiting area. The waiting area has comfy seating, water, tea, and some fruit and crackers. There is also a waterfall feature that helps keep things quiet and relaxing. Both services I had, a prenatal massage and facial, were very nice and the therapists were very accommodating and did a great job overall. This isn’t a super luxe spa with tons of amenities, but a very nice and relaxing spot to spend a few hours getting pampered.

I meant to leave this review last month. This place is always on point and has always been a relaxing and amazing experience. The therpaist are all very professional and experienced. The front desk staff is very friendly and the location is always spotless! Very lucky to have such a great escape so close to my home.

I have been going to Shulas for a few years now and, although pricey and I’m sure there are many spas around Miami with cheaper prices I just can’t bring myself to stop coming here! I just had a face peel with Izabel and I already feel and look 15 again! I love Aveda products and the relaxing vibe inside the spa. They never fail to make me forget the stresses of daily life here at Shulas!

I have been here several times for different services ranging from massage, facials, body scrubs, and etc. Every time I come here everything has been great and the service was up to my standards. My review today is for my last visit that I had recently. I had a facial done, which was actually a birthday gift from my mother. I arrived an hour earlier than my set appointment and they offered me use of the rest of their facility like gym equipment, sauna, whirlpool, and even the hotel pool. This was the first time I have ever heard of this, I guess since I usually arrive at the actual time for most of my services, but it would’ve been nice to know beforehand that this was available. Now I know for future reference to come in a little earlier to have access to these things. In this visit I was not able to use any of them, since I did not have a bathing suit for the whirlpool or hotel pool nor gym clothes for the gym; the only thing I was able to use was probably the sauna with the use of a towel, but that was out of service. So I just spent my hour lounging in their waiting area until it was time for my facial. During that time I was not given a robe, towel, or slippers. I am aware of the procedures, but usually every time I come here they provide me with these essentials immediately. I had to dig into the cabinets of the locker room to look for them, which they had one pair of clean sandals left and I was finally able to find a robe after my treasure hunt. I had to ask politely for a towel since there weren’t any. Normally this isn’t the usual for this place, but I guess they were a bit off. I then proceeded to my facial. The esthetician was very friendly and knowledgable. The facial was great and very relaxing. The aromatherapy definitely tickled my senses and took me to another place. She even added a foot massage, which was a first since I’m use to getting my hands massaged during this service, but it was still very enjoyable. The only issue I had was that she didn’t take as much time with the extractions as others usually do during my other visits. Overall, the visit was great except for a few minor issues, but definitely a great place to get pampered and I’m definitely a loyal customer.

This place was ok. I had a pedicure and my husband a 30 minute massage. The services were good. A couple things in my opinion could be improved. I had the stress relieving pedicure which took place in a small room that had a total of 6 people in it including me. I had wanted some quiet stress free time(hence the stress relieving pedicure) and instead I felt stuck in a chatty tiny crowded room. I also was put off by the person at the front desk asking if my husband wanted to include the 18% tip on our credit card. I always feel tips should be gifted for exceptional service, not something one requests… and especially not requested with an exact number attached to it.

I love this little spa from the facial to the massage and the manicure, it’s a good place to unwind during the weekend without having to spend that much. It’s a bit on the small side, but it is a wonderful place especially to get treatments using Aveda products.

I’ve come here several times for various treatments — massages, pedicures, manicures or just to buy products. The service is great — lots of smiles and«may I help you’s.» Manis and pedis can be a little on the $$ side, but if you want relaxation and a solid job, then it’s totally worth it. I’ve been to places where a mani/pedi is $ 30, and sure it’s cheaper, but the quality and experience aren’t very good. The Spa at Shula’s specializes in selling Aveda products whether facial, body or hair. They also sell OPI and Essie nail products. Additionally, they have a rewards card and when you accumulate a certain amount of points, you can redeem them for services. Tip: Go during the week; the points you earn are doubled! I’m not really into the whole carrying a rewards card because it takes up space in my already cluttered wallet, but for this place, I’ll carry it. Amenities are clean and very modern. They have a little lounge area which was a little more rinky-dinky before, but has improved with new comfy chairs. In that same area, they offer a platter of fruits and crackers along with water, tea, etc. The locker room has a shower and some nice products to help you spruce up after the massage(all AVEDA). I know I sound ridiculous, but I love their bathroom. It’s dim and has the soft background music playing… complete with a butt-warming toilet seat(superb!). Overall synopsis: good establishment, great service, CLEAN and relaxing ambiance.

I had today my first brazilian waxing with Maribel. She is great. She was patient and took her time to answer my questions since I was a little nervous. I will definitely come back.

Cute little spa. And I mean, LITTLE! great for solo spa days. Not much outdoor space. Services have always been consistently good and they use the best products! They have great deals if you go M-Thursday too. Check them out!

There is a nice locker room with a shower and plenty of supplies for you to freshen up. The bathroom is across the hall from the locker room. I have been there twice and although the service has been good, it is loud there sometimes and I couldn’t relax during one of my massages at all.

Yasuyo is the best! I have been going to her for years now for my manicures. The staff is nice and helpful. If you go get a mani/pedi…go with Yasuyo! She’s my girl! The other girls are nice too but I am loyal to Yasu! :)

I received a gift card for the Spa at Shula’s for Christmas and boy, was I pleasantly surprised. Once I walked through the spa door I was in another world. It’s on the smaller side(a fraction of the Doral Spa) — but it smells and looks beautiful. I actually prefer the more intimate setting. They offer just about everything you would expect from a nice spa(tea, lemon water, robes, slippers, etc). The shower and changing areas offered Aveda products for your convenience which was really nice too. My massage was truly great. The therapist(Patty?) actually took her time to ask me what I wanted and easily delivered the most relaxing massage I’ve ever had. One last thing: they have a high-tech toilet by Toto that literally washes and dries you. So cool. That was the icing on the cake. :)

I came here a few days ago for a Mani/Pedi. A friend of mine had given me a SpaFinder gift card for my birthday that I hadn’t used and thought that there was no opportunity like the present to pamper myself a little. Even when calling to make the appointment the girl on the phone was just delightful. she answered my questions, explained where the place was and gave me her direct number in case I needed any further assistance. When I walked in it looked like your average salon, there were products on shelves all over the place and a register with the receptionist behind it. But, as I was walked to the back area it was so pretty… you got your choice of lemon water, regular water, tea, coffee, muffins, cookies, crackers, and fruits to munch on while you waited on your manicurist. They also offer all sorts of other services, more then likely I will be back to try out any number of then, starting with the massage. The girl who gave me my treatments was very nice and before I knew it her and the other women working there had me and some other clients in such an uproar that the girls from the front came in to see what was so funny. The employees here really have such bubbly personalities that the time just flies by. I enjoyed my time here very much and I will definitely be coming back.
