Allure Day Spa

Where do I start… I purchased this groupon for my mother for Mother’s Day for a couples massage and facial. It took me about 10 minutes to find this place. Once I arrived I asked the receptionist if there was parking and she said no, to park a block away on a dirt path. SO BEWARE THERE’S NO PARKING.
After filling out some papers my mother and I were placed in a small room to start our massage. Mind you there’s only two people working there. A masseuse and the receptionist who also happens to be the one doing the facials. Once we were in the cramped room, I realized that both massage and facials were taking place in the same room. How strange.
The masseuse did not speak any English so you can’t communicate how you want to be massaged or how it’s going. And I felt as though my massage was rushed (I checked my watch when she finished and I had 15 minutes remaining) Overall the massage wasn’t what I expected, you can get a better one at the mall for cheap.
Now on to the facial. DISASTER! Stay away, don’t get one here. My face was scarred for 2 and a half weeks!!! I’m still seeing a few dark areas I’m correcting at my dermatologist. The whole process felt like I was letting my 7 year old sister wash my face. The receptionist was chewing gum very loudly as she did my facial. I found that to be rude and unprofessional.
After everything was done, there was a mandatory tip for $ 39 which I refused to pay because I didn’t feel as though I got what I paid for. I got a rushed massage and a scars on my face from my facial.
STAY AWAY!!!

Worst Spa ever. We went for a couples massage and received a bag of crap. There was only 1 therapist for the 2 of us. We each only received 20 minutes of the strangest massage ever. One of them featured the lady painfully scraping our skin and another featured some weird paste she applied on out skin which caused our skin to break out in hives and itch everywhere. They don’t even speak English! Okay I lied. But they only speak maybe 10 words maximum. I don’t know how to describe the rest of the service but if I could say it in 1 word, it would be UNACCEPTABLE. To top that they had the audacity to ask for mandatory tip. My gf is nice so she gave it anyways. I wouldn’t have. They don’t deserve anything but for their business to SHUT DOWN! Avoid this place at all cost!!!

Horrible! The receptionist was in her pajamas! The room was freezing! They changed people half way through the session! The woman didn’t give and neck or hand massage while the mask was drying which has been typical in every spa I have ever been in, she just sat there. Then at the end they demanded a tip, the didn’t even suggest it. They said your tip will be $ 13, how would you like to pay for that? Who does that?! Even worse the facialist used Jenkins cream as a moisturizer!!! Not what I paid for!
