I dont know where did u guys went, but if it is the same office in Miracle Mile almost at Brickell I think that maybe the problem were them. I switched o. d just because I didnt like the staff of my previous one. I have been to many dr. offices in miami and this guys are the warmest and coolest people I ve seen. Remember people treat you back as you treat them, if you are cold with someone they will be cold with you. This is the only O. D that has gotten the right prescription for my contacts ever, I ve been to doctors here in other countries. The dr. is superprofessional and talks to you and explains. The guy in the reception and the lady in the prescription office are supernice. If you want to be treated good go here.

I had this doctor fill a prescription for contacts. The prescription was good for 1 year, but I had supplies and only needed to order more contacts 10 months after the visit. My insurance company contacted the doctor to authorize the purchase of contacts and he denied it, even though it was well within the 1 year period. I guess he wants me to pay for another appointment in order to give the authorization. But I suppose he just lost another patient, which seems to be a dwindling group given the reviews he gets.

I just called intending to make an appointment. The receptionist had no personality, super cold, helpless. I guess I would have to keep looking.

The eye doctor and staff can be great but there’s hardly any parking and each visit takes up a day.

the doc is fine but his staff is AWFUL. i went to doctor felix alonso to update my contact prescription. my insurance company gave me 3 names to pick from, and he had the first open time slot. he gave me some new contacts that made my eyes red, and when i called to ask for a pair of my old contacts, it felt like i had called the IRS. i got 100 reasons why the right process was to make an appointment for next week(as the doctor was out) — whereas i simply wanted them to give me a pair of lenses today. i know they have them in stock since they gave me a perfectly good trial pair on my first visit. after 15 minutes of bullying, i convinced the reluctant woman on the phone to try to find me a pair of trials. does no one care about customer service in this town? is everyone f’ing retarded?
