I think one of the best sandwiches here is the bean burger, not a fan of the others. They soup and the Mac and cheese are good too. They have a variety of sweets which are tempting to buy.

Visited restaraunt on a unexpected visit to Kendall Regional Hospital. Apon my visit I noticed that the food was tasty but Expensive. They gave No staff discounts and restraunt closes earlier which is incovinient considering the Hospital Café is only open for a small time for breakfast lunch and dinner.
They’d rob u blind if u ate here every day.

AAAHHH Tummy saaaaverrrr!!! and a little piece of heaven, perfect to disconnect and re cap yourself in the middle of a very busy shift.
Located at «El Kendall» in the atrium a.k.a. my second home :), while I save lives in the ER this place saves my tummy and mind each and every time I come to work. With it’s layed back chilled atmosphere and it’s refreshing décor it’s absolutely a must during a busy work day. Hospital cafeteria closes early and 95% of the times I am so busy in my department that I don’t get a chance to get to the cafeteria on time and buy food. I must say It’s a little pricey, I go with 8 $ and I am only able to get a café con leche and a toast. However the staff, management, and food is a definitely A+. I always get greeted with a smile, they bend over backwards when making my sandwich or wrap. I have even changed my mind in the middle of the sandwich making process and they have been nothing but nice about it and started from scratch. My brake is only 30 minutes so time is limited and I need a place to eat with fast service. There is a line for cashier, one for sandwhich making, one for café, all with different employees at every line. Sounds a little confusing but things run really smooth. while they are making your food the person in the café line is making your cortadito or colada or café con leche, so when you go to the cashier line to pay everything is ready. For breakfast I love the smoked salmon sandwich with tomatoes, cream cheese, and capers. For lunch the cranberry chicken or ceaser chicken salad wrap and of course … wait for it… can I get an AAAAA soup (church choir music in the back). Yes the soups here are the highlight of the place, you must must must try: mushroom bisque, tomato basil bisque, potato cheese, and of course broccoli cheese just to name a few. For dessert there is a pretty good selection: cup cakes, chocolate croissant, brownies, cookies, even ice cream. Yuuummmmyyyy wanna go to work now so I can eat there Lol. Bön appetite!!!
