For those of you that perform your own oil changes, they do accept used oil and filters here. Just go to the end of aisle 4, then make a quick left and you’ll see a huge blue oil container. There isn’t a receptacle to put your used filters, so just leave it on top of the container. And make sure you bring a rag with you in case you spill any oil. As far as pricing goes, make sure you check their weekly flyers for deals. Their pricing is competitive with Pep Boys but the jury is still out on whose aftermarket parts are more reliable. I’ve been using Duralast brake pads for years and have no complaints, but I know others swear by Napa or Pep Boys parts. If you have to make a major repair, like a timing belt or catalytic converter, you should always use dealer parts. The reason being is that the part is made specifically for your car and will be made better and last longer. I know most people would prefer to save money and buy a cheaper part, but you’ll end up spending more in the long run by doing that. You can go to Autozone for basic stuff, but if you’re doing a major repair, then the dealer is your only option. Don’t be cheap…
