I have been having some back problems for a while now and are getting progressively worst. Finally decided to do something about it so I went to see Dr. Dionne Casthely, D.O. She is part of the Baptist Spine Care Group. Dr. Casthely was great and very attentive. She gave me a very thourough physical examination and send me for a variety of MRIs and Xrays to get to the bottom of my problem. Needless to say I felt very confident in her hands.

Dear Baptist Outpatient Services, WOW. What amazing customer service in what normally would have been such a pain in the ass… For this I am eternally grateful. The dreaded thing happened to me that all women fear — I found a lump in my right breast recently. I was at my doctor for my annual check up and showed her what I had found. She told me that she was not worried, but that I should definitely have it checked out with an ultrasound. About to refer me to Memorial Miramar Hospital, I explained to her that I lived in Miami and would prefer something down south, to which her reply was immediately«Baptist Outpatient Center». Not sure if it was out of fear or just pure procrastination, it took me almost 2 weeks from that day to make my appointment. When I finally called you to schedule, I got nothing but amazing service. Every step of the way. The phone # my doctor had given me was actually to the main hospital. The immediately provided me with the # to the Outpatient center, but also transferred me, instead of having me hang up and call back. Once I reached your center, I spoke to a very nice rep who proceeded to take my information, insurance, etc. We scheduled an appointment for just a few days later. The following day I received another call to confirm the appointment and to reconfirm my information. Awesome. So a couple of days pass and I realize I scheduled my appointment on the same night as a Board of Directors meeting at work that I had to be present at. Shoot! Time to make a change. I called in and it was just as easy as the first time. They had available appointments and I was able to keep the same time, just moved over one day. PERFECT! And again, they called the next day to reconfirm all details. Upon arrival they were very friendly and very efficient. I checked in and went straight to register with a rep. Then once that was finished, I was taken to a waiting area, where I was already being called in for my ultrasound withing 2 minutes. Then I changed in this really nice locker room area, and put all of my clothes in a locker(changed into a fun hospital gown… Gosh those are sexy! ;-)). I was taken to another waiting room, where again I only waited about a minute and was then escorted into the ultrasound room. The procedure took about 10 minutes and then I waited while the doctor on staff read the results. Turns out everything is normal and I am A-OK! What a relief!!! And I was so glad they were at least able to tell me right then and there, which was just 2 days ago. Thank you for your amazing customer service, understanding, patience and kind bedside manners.
