Cashiers are extremely slow!!!, I just wanted to buy a orange juice and I had to wait 20 minutes! I will go back there to buy something when just opened in the morning.

After a brainless day dealing with Mall crowds — Dolphin Mall crowds … Borders is my sanctuary, I grab a few mags or a good book go upstairs, order me a coffee and sit down and enjoy a good quiet time to unwind. This is the place where I satisfy my reading cravings — and usually I can find what I need. I have normally encountered pretty decent service and for the most part they have been helpful and informative. Other than that … it is a Borders, not your neighborhood bookstore…

Always too pack, and if you are looking for an specific title this is not the place, even if you go to their online website, and it says that they have it, the personel is not helpful, and without looking they will tell you that they just run out.

This particular Borders is always packed. You got your old folks, the middle age, loud mouth kids etc. Its awesome that its located in the mall, just stinks of how much«traffic» comes and goes. Its big, and always has what I’m looking for, but its always too loud for me at least. I only come to this one because its right by my home.

Revisit this store if you haven’t been here in a while. Since they eliminated the dvds and music section(something I wasn’t really thrilled about at the time) they have actually improved! There’s more room to move around now, the loud crowd is gone, the children’s section(always good) is now even larger, and the overall atmosphere is more like a real bookstore! I was very impressed with the reader’s advisory skills of the staff last time I visited; an employee named Joseph actually asked me if I needed help(I’ve been going there for years now and no one has ever spoken to me before) and he recommended several authors based on my tastes and our conversation which led me to discover two new authors I’m interested in! Like I said, a real bookstore experience! He also helped two other people immediately before and after me. They do need to bring back the comfy seats, though, now that there’s room for them!

This Borders is by far my least favorite of the ones in South Florida. First off, it’s located in Dolphin Mall which is just pure madness. The Borders here is always full with punk kids, loud tourists and yelling babies. Their music and dvd selection is embrassing. I went there this week to get a cd that came out the same day and they didn’t have it. Things are always a mess and inventory there is always disorganized. I think from now on I will be going to the new Borders that opened up in Merrick Park. It’s huge, clean and super quiet. Which is the way any bookstore should be.

Me luvs me some books… Big selection, and if they don’t have it they will order them for you — books or music. HUGE array of fitness videos and products like mats for yoga to go with your 5CD Yoga collection that you just purchased. You can also sign up with a frequent buyers program, get discounts. very cool. The Café offers yummy food & beverages. They have this pizza pretzel that is really good, probably really bad for you but whatever. Tasty lattes, and teas. Service inconsistent but not bad.
